so let's say I have an item that I want to sell, and I go check out the wtb board, is there an easier/better way to find if anyone wants the item I have than going through everyone's unique wtb thread? not a problem if there's just a handful of threads there but once the wtb board gets it's going to be unreasonable to navigate everyone's unique thread. And sure I'll glance at folks wtb list when they post it but I may not remember who's after what when I'm staring my closet someday and thinking damn I'm out of control and I decide to part with a thing or two.
Maybe someone has a good suggestion how to handle this? Is there a way to search this that I'm not thinking of? My thought, use a hashtag, like #wtb and put that in your post along with the item name(s) you want. At least that way I could use the forum search function, search the hashtag and the item number and easily find any wtb posts. For instance thomas just posted up a list of flannels he's after but if I go search wtb ihsh-11 his post doesn't come up. And I can't limit a search to the wtb board only.
Any other ideas? Am I thinking about this the wrong way? I just know it's frustrating if folks post up wtb lists, and stuff on their list gets put up for general sale and they miss out; I mean our goal ought to be easily matching up sellers with folks after their stuff.

jaco nice idea…so everyone needs to post the real item names in their wtb list so that everyone who uses the search function can track them down and make it easier to find'em!
or is it possible to just create a "wtb (no chat)" thread without all that chit chat going on so the thread stays clean so everyone can post their list and is able to find things that others wtb a bit easier! everyone's allowed to post their list only "once" though (only can be modified!)…

Monday, how do you like the Bedwin and the Heartbreakers Varsity compared to the Aero/IH Varsity? Was wondering how much better quality you can get than the Aero/IH considering the Bedwin one is twice as much money. Also, what do you think of the fit for each?

i got my monies worth on both items.
kind of like denim from Flathead & Iron Heart or comparing footwear from White's & Viberg, they are all great for different reasons. as far as fit, i think both are great considering one is bespoke (Aero/IHUK Forum Varsity) & one is off the rack (Bedwin).
are you considering a Bedwin Varsity? Bodega has them under retail at the moment if that was holding you back from getting one.

Na, I personally wouldn't pay that much for the Bedwin varsity, I like the IH varsity better and I don't think Bedwin makes a size big enough for me anyways. I was just wondering why you had both, if you thought one was better than the other is all.
Also, judging from your fit pics, the IH looks like an extremely better fit in the chest and you even have a hoodie on underneath. I'm sure this just comes down to the IH Varsity being bespoke while the Bedwin is not.

being that I had a small hand in one beinng created kind of tilts the scales for me. Little known fact my name was going to be in the nomenclature for the Aero/IH UK Varsity but I thought it limited the audience and said nah. My wife likes the Bedwin better on me so that is what I wear most. oh and its not much I don't have two of i like well made stuff and honestly am very spoiled

Oh that's sweet. I'd love to spec all the materials and design a jacket for IH. I guess I didn't think anything of it if someone mentioned this was your idea in the varsity thread and that you put work in on the project. Seems there are tons of suggestions on the forum for new products but no one else gets credit for it, which makes complete sense as Haraki is the designer. So I'm glad you opted not to have your name on it. I thought the inspiration for the varsity was from when Haraki visited the Aero factory but I guess I'm wrong. Good job on the collab though, looks good.
