so you reckon I should just continue wearing and decide whether to alter more after the first wash?

what about posting a fitpic? would be better to give you some more advice imo!

no really need to wait until first wash. i mean, just wear at your suitable length with single cuff if you like. let the denim drape to your body after 3-6 months, all the combs and creases set and decide wether you need to hem more or no. hard to describe it,but you need experimenting with the jeans and that what we did before. in easy words, allow 1-1.5 extra for cuff or little stack. i wear my jeans at 32-35inch. experimenting different length. what you wear will looks good if you comfortable with it. i just wear it and dont compare. but i'm still jealous with madmonday for his superblack vest.

this is the supposedly stacking. haha. is that alright or looks long? I'm 173cm and I have my inseam at 32" at the moment. 😞

btw pardon the running shoes. it's a long story. 😞

It's fine. New, heavy denim stacks funny at first. It'll settle down as the fabric relaxes

if i wouldn´t know your forum name i would have guessed alex would be posting something again :P…no really, i´m with doug on this. heavy denim needs alot more time to settle so just wear´em like that and decide on what to do in a few more months i´d say.
and heavy denim paired up with some nice running shoes isn´t a bad thing...just saying 😉

you sure that's not too long for me? 🙂 normally it'll take around how long before it settles down and then I can decide? 2-3 months of wear?

they dress all fancy and flashy. I just can't match them. 😞 we need neon green IH jeans and maybe bright orange jackets then maybe we can get stand near them. 😃

                                  Sorry for the nit-picky question:

For a size 33,this site lists the leg opening as 9.0, while SE lists it as 8.6.  I know each pair is different, but which measurement is closer to the mark?  I know it's only ~1/2 inch, but this could affect my decision to buy…guess I'm getting picky in my jean selection!

                                  cheers

Hmmm…I'm looking for something a touch narrower in the leg. Think I might wait for the next batch of BB OD's.

                                      Cheers.

I'm still seriously hesitant between 28 and 29.
My 634S (29) are OK, but a I could have gone 28. My 634SR (28) are OK too.
                                        On the paper I could go 28 even with 634S-B, but… It's hard, I don't know. I'm at a standstill.
