            OK, when you guys do a hot soak, how hot is hot?

            Like in °C ??

              well i've never measured the hotness of the water I'm using but when i do a hotsoak i always use the hottest water Coming out of the tap and/or i just boil up some water using a water boiler!

                yeah…I'm going to do "hotsoak" for my 634SRAWs when they get here in a washing machine. Was just pondering should I do it in 40 or 60 °C.  (and prob. also use the dryer 😉  )
                I guess I have to see how they fit presoak to determine this.

                        40° is probably fine.  If I remember correctly, IH does the overdyeing process at 60° and it turns the leather patch into something close to a poker chip in consistency.  I doubt you want that.

                            Right, I knew that.:)  I seem to recall a video you posted of a patch that went through the process, though.  I have a memory of you dropping it on a wooden floor and it clattered around like it was made of plastic.

                            Was I right about the temperature?  And more importantly, about the advice I gave Injun?

                              Oh while I'm thinking about it- Giles, did you say that the new run of tee shirts was going to have a slightly different cut than the Shitamachi body tees?

                              I know I could look it up, but I'm too lazy.:)

                                Not different, but each size will run about 1/2 a size larger than the 2011 run…....In theory at least.....

                                      you can get your same new era size, but the construction of the crown is much more relaxed than a new era hat. i would say it fits like those hats you had when you were a little kid & the hats had the little brims.  hope that info helps cris

                                          It depends what method of posting was used.  It is much like Royal Mail, there are about a dozen different posting options…..
