We just tried to go into town for a beer.  We got 50 yards, literally lost Trish in a snow drift and turned back.  The town is closed, the roads are closed and there is talk about being snowed in.  We have had possibly 5 feet of snow today…...

Most of roads closed due to avalanche risk, only one lift open at moment, truck loads of snow being ferried out of town…

So did you go? I mean, what else is there to do?

Wandered up, but the only lift open was on the nursery slope, so did not bother.  May venture out again later but it is -15 C at 2000 meteres and the wind is gusting at 70kph…..
