I definitely had a similar experience with my sr's, it didn't last more than a couple days.  I am guessing the same will be true with these. Good luck.

I find that never to be the case. Quite the opposite, actually. Ha.

I spent 45mins to get all the buttons into the holes. What madness is this. Haha. I had to use a drumstick to pull through the top hole, to allow the top button to get in..

i had problems with all the buttons, but real real real big problems with the 2nd one (from top!)…

how long should i soak them btw.?

30mins should be enough to bed in the contructional stitchings right?

Just a word of caution when using tools to help button for the first time:

I used a screwdriver to help loosen the buttonhole on a pair several months ago, but later found that I had nicked the thread on the buttonhole stitch which eventually began to unravel.  I had to hand-sew a new buttonhole.

Just sayin',  Good luck and Happy wearing to all…

Yes, and just remember, it is the drying process that does as much shrinking as the soaking.  So if you want to retard shrinkage, dry them slowly, if you want mega shrinkage, put the on the hottest radiator you can find…...

                                    so hot water + hottest radiator = max.shrinkage ?

if i`d coldsoak´em but then using the hottest radiator for drying, would i get the same results or is the combination above better for max shrinkage…?

I really believe that it is the speed of drying that determines the amount of shrinkage.  I've never measured it scientifically though….

G is right, fast hot drying will cause major shrinking ( radiator, dryer ) so be careful…
Drying them in a warm room ( I used the kitchen ) I found worked the best.
