After two weeks of consecutive wear I feel as my 666XHS'es are settling in nicely… I went for a 33" inseam (true inseam around 31.5" I'd say), and as y'all know I doublecuff 'm...

Thing is they kinda sit high on my shoes just standing up... Like: they will not for the life of me drape over my shoes... Even when I singlecuff them, it's the same... I hate how they show my socks and ankles as I squat or bend forward... (Should I post this in the mental thread?..)

Question: are these too short?.. I'm thinking of just hotsoaking them and having them hemmed to my length…

Seul, no offence but if you didn't cuff then this wouldn't be a problem right??

If I wear them without a cuff they're too long… The denim won't drape and it looks like shit... So either the double cuff works and these aren't too short and it's just my imagination, or I get them hemmed to my proper length and don't wear them cuffed...

Un-cuffed looks better, imo. With a slight hem, you might negate the bunching up around the knee area.

When standing they look to be allright, but they rise as you describe due to rigidness of the fabric. If you hem them to correct lenght I suspect the same will happen.

Use them a bit more, and try to soften the legs of jeans from knee down. Especially the hem area and few inches up. How to do this….dunno. I think you can figure it out.

This is the best I can think of.

(my jeans do the same, even my most worn 461)

                              yap too long uncuffed mate…

when cuffed i would give another "half cuff" and then hem them to that length.
hope you know what i mean? 😛

Yeah I'll give 'm some time to soften up… The bunching up around the knee is also a pet peeve, hoping that will soften up and flat out as well... Will just have to buy a new pair of boots and only wear my Grensons and whatever my final decision will be for a black pair...

                                Thanks for the input, lads!..

buy Sendra engineers, You'll be amazed how good they are to wear, and no sock "flashing", and they can take the abuse.
