So I have some of the ODs in a 30… Do I size down in these to get the same fit or stick with the 30?

Also, when's the next restock in case I can't cop that last pair of 30s before someone else does?

GimpKid I think you should probably size down one.  I have found the raw denim to be incredibly stretchy so I think it is a safe bet.

                  Hi..
is it better to soak the unsanforised jeans before hemming OR hem it first then soak it?

                  thank you guys..

main plus to hem pre is to start roping
but unless you really know the denim the length will be a little bit of a guess

I was wondering about this.  Is the shrinkage in the length predictable enough to accuarately determine what length to have them hemmed to?  If I want a final length of 31, to what should they be hemmed pre soak?

Well when a buddy of mine got his pair of jawnz at SESF, they measured it pre-soak.
I think they take into account the estimated shrinkage post-soak.
So if the inseam is 37.5 and the estimated shrinkage is 2", you'll probably hem it to 33-33.5. After soaking it, it should be around 31.

                            Hope that helps.

                            I'm as ugly as you

I work on the 666 shrinking 2 inches, but I recommend people to assume 1.5 inches.  Better safe than sorry.  G

That's perfect, thank you.  I want to buy more so bad, but I have to stay vigilant and beat the hell out of my XHS.  I'll cave eventually so this information is helpful.

Is it true that unsanforised jeans will stretch more than the sanforised?

ANd is it possible to wear 666s down size?

                                    1. Possibly but perhaps the greatest factor is the construction of the denim itself.
                                    2. It is, but what are you trying to achieve?

Actually, i want to have a slim fit in the end, not loose..

i'm wearing 301s now, and 666 is my next target, but still confused which i will choose, 666s, 666sod or maybe 666xhs..
                                      🙂

I'm a little confused.  The measurements for these vary on this website to the Selfedge chart.  Going by the Selfedge chart the w34 would fit me stretching out to around w35.  The chart on this website indicates they will be smaller than this.  Can anyone help please?
