Yikes…appears I drastically overestimated my ability to size up in the 634 cut:
Is there anyone out there who's really pissed they missed out on this sample pair at $300 and wants to give them the beating they deserve*? Or anyone care to convince me these'll look ok once they soften up a bit?
Sorry G, really thought these'd work for me…
*in particular any of the NYC crew, as I'll be there next week.

What do you think is off on them? The last pic looks a little tight, but they're stretchy. I think you look more uncomfortable than the fit.

yeah pics are so small….what's the problem? and are they soaked already? I'm too lazy to go back on pages to check whether G soaked them or not…
from what i can see there shouldn't be any kinda problem…

Please explain in clear terms what you wanted and what you feel you got.
What size is it?
If you dont like it and the size is in my range (33-36), and your asking price is within my capabilities I'll relieve you of it. -
sorry dcg, they would be too small for me. thanks for putting that out to NY city crew. maybe someone in your size range will see this & scope them up.

Sorry, I should not have assumed everyone had read the whole thread :). Also, was posting from my phone, and didn't realize the pic ended up so small.
These have been soaked by Haraki/G, so all the shrinkage should be gone (per G, Haraki went for max shrinkage to determine what size they would end up at).

My size 32 634s-b are a great fit, but were tight in the waist/top block at first. My thought with the raws was that since this denim stretches less, I'd end up with just a slightly larger fit, but they're simply too big for me.

Thanks, jacoavlu. If they were raw, I'd say they were going to end up perfect. I wouldn't mind them as a looser fitting pair to screw around in, but I don't see them as an every-day type of fit for me. Would rather see them with someone who'll put some serious wear into them.
If no takers, maybe I'll give them a boiling soak to see if I can snug them up at all - but G suspected they were pretty well maxed out in terms of shrinkage.
