Ok, she let me try them on. When I started measuring them and trying to make them stand up she said that classified as "playing with them" and put a stop to it. They have retreated to the closet until the holidays or until she leaves me, whichever comes first. This may be the first xmas since I was in high school that I don't sleep in.As for the pants. Holy smokes! They are ridiculous. They fit like a glove, a wooden glove, but a glove nonetheless. I'm going to grow a preposterous looking lumberjack's beard and take some fit photos for the thread. Maybe holding an axe. Thanks to the IH crew for everything!

Yeah, considering we just brought a new baby home today and she's only had 2 hrs of sleep since Monday, I'd say she's fair and reasonable. I got here about 10 minutes before the delivery guy.
Or is she cruel… she wouldn't let me see the jeans long enough to get them bottoned. I only managed the top one to make sure they fit, the rest would have required time, beer, a wrench, and possibly a strong friend to manage. Lucky for me I usually have all those things handy on xmas morning anyway. I would imagine Giles cringes every time someone orders a hem on these, I wouldn't want to run them through a rare vintage sewing machine for fear of personal injury and mechanical catastrophe.

Congrats on the new addition to the family and the new addition to the wardrobe. I know how you feel about cruel wives, mine opened up the leather pouch just long enough to show me the IH bracelet that will be my Christmas present! The wait is always the hardest part…

Day 3 of being a father… day 2 of being an XHS owner. What I've learned so far about both:
1. Babies mostly resemble muppets and make noises like squirrels.
2. 25 oz denim actually calls you from its hiding place in the closet, beckonning you to release it from its unjustly sentenced 2 month prison term.
Ok, that 2nd one may have been a hallucination, I haven't slept much. I may try them on when the wife is asleep today and see if I can get some pictures.

You are one brave soul.
Never crosses the lady wife when 1) she just gave birth to your child 2) she is sleep deprived and 3) her b–bs are sore from feeding the little one. Your life is about to turn upside down...and your perspective about things in life will change for the better. Now walk gingerly to the closest and put on that 25oz.!
