IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered

Hey Iron Hearts,

i got my 666s today (W30), and i must say that's one stubborn mofo 
Never had a Jeans this stiff but it feels quite nice. (I wonder what the 21oz or even 25oz must feel like!)

They're quite tight on the waist and a bit too slim on the tighs. Not sure about the fit. What do you guys think, should I keep 'em and start to soak?

They NEED to be soaked.

Raw denim MUST be soaked, you have to bed the constructional stitching into the denim and get rid of the starch

You will shorten the life of the jean (any raw jean) if you do not

I forgot these are unsanforised… My bad... Well if they're too tight now, pre-soak, things are looking a little grim...

They will be a little tight to start with, but my 33's now measure 34 and i have a load more room in the thigh that originally…..

personally I think you should stick with that size sukram.  there will be some pain post-soak but that's part of the experience…

that said it depends ultimately on what kind of fit you want.

that denim stretches back to pre soak size after a few weeks. :).
The knee down will not stretch though so keep that in mind (no pressure to stretch em back).

(dark)knight you do realize these jeans were made for slim folks like you.  they look really good, now go eat a sandwich & have a protein shake with some weight gainer

LOL…. steady diet of stress from watching the Mets and Jets keeps me from putting on more weight.

They will settle once the denim softens.

question, if a pair of 666 has been cold soaked before, will I expect it to shrink further if I were to hot soak it again?

Hmm…these really are some skinny-ass jeans…

I'm someone who doesn't exactly have meaty thighs, but I'd rather not accentuate that fact and rather go with something looser. That's why I'm getting rid of my Busters and will likely opt for the 634, instead. Good for you brave souls who rock the hell out of those 666s.

It's all on how you size shoreman..

These can look slim-straight if sized right…

the denim on my pair has definitely settled down over the last couple of days.  I think within a week it will be quite noticeable compared to the immediate post-soak state.
