thanks alot hectic and MOD, very kind
edit: got answer from Gary eastman:
No this is not correct, it is much cheaper than that. The problem is the website has individual values for each item and then it adds them togehter, so sometimes with groups of small items like this we get an inflated figure.
the shipping costs are 15 bucks so i'll guess that's reasonable.

Dont want to be evangelic and all but if you do some rigorous excercise you can eat what you want….
Irrespective you should do a before and after - really gratifying
-
Yeah- dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing toilets, washing dishes, folding laundry, repairing the busted closet…
Oh wait, you were probably thinking about "exercise", wink, wink, nudge, nudge, weren't you? Naughty boy.

So I post a B&S here: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1885.0
And I get a PM asking:
What are the measurements for the sams? And how much?
Hate to rag on another member, but are you fucking serious?

Send PM about info that's not in the post. Get randomly bashed...
I was fucking serious, but not anymore.
Oh, and I love pretty pictures, who doesn't?

Always bothers me why Schott never gets much love on clothing forums. Most of us love Americana work wear right? And here is a brand who still manufactures most of its high end products in New York, just like they have done since 1913. They have supplied the military and police, have been responsible for arguably the most iconic leather jacket ever created, the same jacket which featured in arguably the most iconic piece of biker, Americana cinema ever, and their owner (Jason Schott) will happily answer any question that you fire at him. Still, when I have mentioned Schott in the past on other forums it has been greeted with a begrudging moan of "mall brand", and other derisory comments.
I know that Aero gets alot of love around here (and with very good reason, their work is amazing), but I think Schott leather jackets and Peacoats in particular are worth a liitle love too. My vintage (1976) 602, Police issue Perfecto is the best coat that I have ever owned, 35 years old and still amazing.

Maybe it's because they're crap at sewing on buttons?
but seriously, interesting point Mega. I've had loads of Schott gear, a couple of leathers and a couple of N3B's (which are excellent for the money) and a few other bits and bobs. All good heavy duty stuff.
I know how much love & care goes into them but 'd love to compare a Buzz or Toys N3B and a Schott side by side just to see…
