I am not to worried my 634s have stretched from a 34 to a 36, that was my concern on the size 34 1955s I was worried they would stretch and be way to big since they were loose to start.

I am letting down my IH community….. I will have pics next week promise!! been busy with kids and work.  and I am slow at getting pics on the web.  Giles, If it helps motivate a second run I will do the pics.

They're hanging right next to me now.[ i am in bed 1 in the morning] Didn't get a chance to take a good look but the fit is just how in like it.

When you put it on you know it's a 55cut so 55 die hards will not be disappointed but it has very much an IH feel, not just with the obvious signature fabric but the patten is still true to how IH cut their jeans.

Every pattern maker has their own way of doing things and it is still very apparent though this one so technically not a 55 repo but a IH take on the 55,  Harakied

Check your measurements as these run true. If you like to "stretch" fit in to your jeans then differently size down one more than you normally would.

thanks guys. had a whole day with these on and still loving it.
i know the denim is the same but this feels a little different, very very slightly more hairy and fluffy. most likely
just the opposite season form when my 634S denim was woven [you would be surprised how season can affect a vintage loom]

these are differently too long for me so will take them up when i have time.

the construction on the 55 is the same as the 634S with a few minor details.

the sewn in belt loop

fully lined back pockets

the US 43200G was in perfect tention with this lot

couple of interesting facts. [neither make it better or worse]

reason unknown to me the lapseamer used for these is a different machine to the 634S and the 25oz [the only two other IH jeans i've seen in person] not only is the machine different but the cotton
