@wjw Sadly I don't think you'll ever solve it, if my experience is any guide. My jeans always sag in the rear if I bend over or crouch, they did when I was 4 stone heavier than I am now, and they do now - and I'm fairly skinny now. You can try higher rises, they may help. For me though, it's just more material to sag, and I end up with a dropped crotch too. Try an elasticated knit belt though, that can help somewhat, as it's almost infinitely adjustable.

Not to be rude by any stretch but it will come across that way
      Sit-ups
      Chair crunches
      Less sugary drinks
      And less beer

I noticed I was heading to a gut look over there past 6 months or so due to life’s fuckups getting in the mix of what I was used to

I’ve cut out most of the vices I had and have noticed a difference within weeks especially with the stomach works on crunches sit-ups etc

The vices kill you but the older I get the harder it is to quit them.

@NickD thanks for the input. So, what cut do you prefer and why? Did it change from bigger to now?

Without any fit pics it’s going to be hard to say. I think it sounds like you may need a significantly larger size of 777 which you will be able to sit closer to your natural waist. When the pants are pulled up higher there will be less rise that hangs down in the front or back. The elastic belt idea is a good one. Good luck with your quest!

@wjw I didn't own IH when I was bigger, but then and now I tend to wear either slim or straight jeans. Mainly 666 and 634 in IH but I've never had big thighs. If you do then 634 might work for you, it's kind of a mid rise, so if they do sag a little it's not too bad, and the straight leg helps visually to balance any bulk in the top half of the body.

If you like tapered jeans then 888 might be worth a go. They are higher waisted and may work for you in the ways that Sabergirl talks about above, depending on the rest of your body type.

I diaper button can happen even if you don't have a big gut. I think it has to do with body proportions also. Usually low rise is the way to go in order to avoid it. My gut is definitely under control I weigh more than you and some cuts like the 888 will give me a bit of sag because all.my pairs no matter where I place them they naturally gravitate towards my hips. I primarily wear 634's i got 28.5 inch thighs and i have no sag. Having said that I can only wear 634's, and 888's do to my built. The rest the thighs are way too small.

I was in the same boat. Jeans with zero stretch really make you come to terms with your body type and proportions.

If I were you I’d try an 888. The longer rise isn’t just to get higher on your waist, it’s also helpful in giving more room in the crotch. Both of those helped me keep my jeans from pulling down my ass crack every time I sat down. Unfortunately the saggy butt is really only fixed with weight loss or super stretchy jeans. I tried sizing up in 666 and 777, but like most big dudes I have big calves. I couldn’t fit my calves past the knee of those fits.

Food for thought: if you have non-stretch jeans with a tight fitting seat, you will likely be very uncomfortable when seated. You either need stretch or room.

                              Could be, definitely alternative.

But it depends on the lead. Ziggy and the Saggy Butts could be singer-songwriter.

@Go-For-Chill The stretch factor might be part of an answer in this scenario.

@Karol I have the SST in 777, and the stretch definitely helps, though I think SST in a different cut would help even more. I know if I scour the forums I can probably find the answer, but do you know a rough ETA when the SST is coming back and if it's coming back in all the cuts besides 634/1955?

@wjw SST in 634 and size to account for stretch (ie, tight at the waist when new).

Alternatively buy 666 in SST and size for the thighs. The waist will likely be big. But the top block will be trim so it won’t matter.
