What's your favourite wine?

For ports, I tend to stick to the 10-20 year range for cost and anything older is special occasion. The ‘68 is a special occasion to be shared with friends who would appreciate it.

We did a family dinner once where we served some pretty good wine with the price tags to go with it. They took one sip and looked for Sprite to put into it…

You can not beat a nice bottle of port and some blue cheese.

@Giles We had two bottles from this winemaker when we had the Japanese dinner with Margarethe and Junichi. Green Dragonfly and Sail Swallowtail. This is their Chardonnay Fire Salamander..

This used to be one of my favorites, still great just haven’t had it in years. My ex-wife and I used to drink a lot of Rioja. For the record, the wine had nothing to do with the split…
