Love this fabric on the western silhouette dearly - May I request the next batch be for more moderately / shorter height folks? Looking to wear untucked..

so close to pulling the trigger but that 30 inch back length is just not suited for my height.

@Dressbasedonmood I doubt the classic western silhouette IH is known for will be altered in such a core fabric. You could have the body length shortened if you'd like but you may lose the chainstitching and the side gussets. I did that very thing on a xxl Nine Lives shirt (the body length was close to 32") and was extremely happy with the results.

Unless we have really screwed up a pattern, we wont change anything drastic (like core measurement) between production runs. And in any case we would change the lot number because basically it is a different thing. So what you are asking in reality is to make new shirt an “S” version of an existing model, we are simply not large enough a company to do that I am afraid .

I think the hem is lock stitched. Looks like it. I would assume the chain stitching would be able to be largely preserved if you shortened the hem.

Mine already shows some indigo loss at the sleeves, now I am going to wear it as much as possible while I can due to summer comming slowly....

Is this shirt warmer than the 12 oz denim IH-33? Or the same?

@bluemantra in my experience, it feels like a denser weave. So a little warmer with more wind resistance

@bluemantra i don't know the 33 but it's not a summer shirt, but I have worn it on warm sunny days and felt okay

I would say so yes. Whether it is the fabric weave, (this is serge twill), or dyeing process (this has both warp and weft dyed), or both, it feels tighter and heavier and more wind resistent than the standard shirting denim.

Fit is muuuuch better than the 2XL was. Still plenty room in the forearms but the ballooning is gone. Fit pics to follow

@bluemantra i'd love to but need to slow it down a bit since I losing weight again and do not want to end up selling a lot unworn stuff next year and focus on a few favorites
