It has not softened up much, the handfeel is pretty rough, but not as much as the 19oz Lefty. The 16oz SBG is much smoother. It is the pinnacle of rugged shirts.

@Alex is there a CPO made with a heavier denim than this 19oz? Or is this the heaviest? Hope you're well bud.

Is it because of the labor involved into making heavyweight CPOs? Similar to why we do not have a 25oz T3?

@Jcaz6996 We haven't opened retailer orders yet. It will go onto the next group of retailer preorders, but that could mean it arriving mid 2024 at the earliest
