A particular fan of the black shading on the wolf. He's managed to make it look furry with the way he's done the fading back to the skin.

@EdH Thank you so much! The majority of my tattoos are from the same artist, and I keep going back to him because he's a solid dude who does really great work. And best of all, he's FAST. This piece took a little over an hour. I agree with you on the shading. It brings the wolf to life. Can't wait to see how it looks when it's all healed up.

It hurts quite a bit, I recall both of my back o' knees to be stupidly painful.

Me too! He offered to make them crazy looking with only yellow, or add some mint to them to tone them down a bit. I like how he mixed it up a bit.

Found these pretty cool linocut prints at a flea market yesterday. Bought two from this series. Keeping one for myself. Gifting this one to my tattoo guy later today - going to drop in on him and surprise him. Mine is the same, but with cherry red for the background colour (the tattooed man is still printed using black).

Edit: He loved it. And might be able to make space for me this weekend. Not that the two are linked, but happy days.
