@Oaktavia ya know, I’ve played with the idea of getting some XHS, and if I did, I think ib would be the one. The main thing that’s stopped me is worries about wearability and versatility. My next pair of jeans is def the 21od, but I’ll reevaluate and consider it next time the xhsib comes around.
It depends on what you are after and what you deem as comfortable. I personally am after high contrast, heavy fades when I wear XHSib. This does not necessarily mean comfort and versatility for everyone. I for one find XHS to be super cozy off the bat but I am a bit of a masochist. They do eventually become amazingly comfortable in due time. On the other hand, the 21ozod will provide comfort, while giving off more muted fades that could be contrast-y given the wear it deserves.

@Oaktavia i can dig it dude. I really like a 21oz for the fades they produce, and for the colder season. Something about the heft when it's nice and soft... and I find the weight practical for all of my activities. I do think it'd be good to have a pair of XHS one day, but first I gotta get on these ODs, the 16oz SBG CPO, and a new UHF! lol
I'm sure if I can catch a break between other purchases and they're available with good measurements, I'll pick up a pair. I do enjoy a challenging break-in and I'm sure the result is worth the struggle. -

On the strength of these I have dug out the 295ib and my 555-Sibs despite the relatively warm weather.

LMFAO Have you heard Beetlejuice 2 is in the works? Fun fact about the house and property my wife and I moved into: there is moss freaking everywhere! Different kinds of mosses too, they are all so, so beautiful and they make me smile. I was tempted to make a Moss thread but held tight due to skepticism of others' potential interest.

@WhiskeySandwich sounds like you got it goin' on my friend. I share the internest in the 21oz...in fact I have a pair of Beatle Busters arriving today from @Heavy_blue out for delivery. I'm sure they will pair nicely with this 396.

@Oaktavia I'll bet those weights aren't too bad at all now that the weather's cooled down lately. I'm enjoying these temps and lower humidity.

@Oaktavia also, thats a damn good looking blue suit. This def has a different look to it than your regular blue-jean Canadian tuxedo.

@WhiskeySandwich it's still pretty hot here, 87 today. I can walk the river in my pants but leave the shirt at home. Absolutely always looking forward to fall though.
The suit for sure has a different vibe than traditional weft. Indigo/black is a big favorite of mine for sure.

Haha it's fading noticeably every day. Same with the 888XHSib. Like if you stare at it long and hard enough, you watch it happen.

Day 10 Update: I have been wearing this shirt pretty much non stop unless I'm outside for too long. Still in the 90s here half the time. Already seeing some noticeable fading all over the dang thing. Worn to bed almost every night. I was skeptical at first about Mike's idea to wear denim to sleep. I definitely don't like wearing XHS to bed. But shirts I do feel evolve more rapidly when I have one on all night.
