Hi, checking in, if my outsole measure 29cm. I will need a UK 9 as per measurement by IHUK in the first pic but it will be around 27.5cm and 9.5 in the size guide below in the 2nd pic?

The IH table has provided is explicitly for that shoe, so go with that. You can also email the shop and double check with them. They have a lot of experience selling these shoes.

Can anyone confirm that these run wider than Converse Chucks? I've read that that's the case, but just wanted to confirm before I grab a pair. I've always found Chucks insanely restrictive and uncomfortable...

I have never worn Converse, sorry. @AdamJ or @Steve may be able to offer real-life experience as I think they both have some chucks

Wearing both Chucks and these i think these are wider and therefore more comfortable to wear.

This thread seems to suggest their closet to UK sizing, I'm normally a UK 9.5, but am tempted to size up to a 10 to allow for thicker socks. Watcha reckon?

@T4920 , i am a US10 in Vans and Chucks and wear a UK 9 in these, even with boot socks they are still comfortable for me. When i bought mine was initially targeting UK 9.5, when i tried them on at IH Germany i was swimming in them so i sized down.

@T4920 I wear a UK7 in my chucks, and a 7 in these. @Twistlock is right though, they are not as narrow so you'll have more room. Your point is valid about socks, I can barely tie the laces on mine if I'm wearing any Iron Heart or Decka socks!

@T4920 IH Sneakers are a lot wider in my experience, I wear 8s in both, but the IH sneakers are a lot more comfortable I find due to being wider. I do tend to wear thinner socks with them, but that’s mainly due to wearing them in the warmer months
