Also, U2 sucks.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
I use these pattern hooks that I got locally from Imogene + Willie here in Nashville. I've tried to source different ones or even make my own, but for $3 a piece they are hard to beat.

@T4920 said in BROTHERHOOD OF BIB:
Still holding about for a Hickory bib re-release, or a lucky find on the secondary market..
I'd 100% arrive in Hamburg head to toe in that fabric
Oh yea?

RE: What's your IH secret pleasure that nobody knows??
I have a lot, but the ones that jump out first are:
This UHF I have where the lines match up perfectly on the back collar, yoke, and back panel:
How the panels on all IH shirts are always perfectly mirrored. Most notably on UHF pockets:
And how the lines are pattern matched perfectly on seams:

RE: The (Less intimidating) Watch Thread
My Grandfather was a pilot and a navigator in the Navy and Air Forces during WWII. The plane he was on went down somewhere over the Philippines in 1945, and he floated in the ocean for a few days before being rescued. Somewhere over the years, the Type A-11 that he wore (and was wearing at that time) found it's way into my hands. It wasn't working, and is rusted out in areas (obvs) but has always meant a lot to me. I finally found another one from the same maker (Elgin) and the same year (1944) and decided to pick it up. It is also in perfect working order and has a period-correct olive watch band on it! Beyond stoked to be wearing this piece and think of Grandpop every time I put it on!
Here's his original watch, which I have on a shelf on our family gallery wall:
And here is the one I just picked up:

RE: Random Announcements
Local denim makers here in Nashville, Imogene + Willie, hosted a Pinewood Derby race in their backyard on Thursday night. I entered on a whim and won first place.
Also, when naming and painting my car, I learned that there were different spelling of Selvage and Selvedge depending on the country. The more you know!

RE: BROTHERHOOD OF BIB
@sabergirl Just 3 for now. 21oz indigo, black wabash, and hickory. The wabash is by far my favorite.

RE: IHSH-62-IND - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
Same as above comments with sizing. Went with my same size for most other shirts, but had a little extra room (which I don't mind on my westerns).
I've also washed and tumble dried this shirt so many times without worry and it comes out great. The tail in the back curls up a bit (just from the way it's constructed) but other than that it has stayed pretty consistent. I just do the normal inside out, presoak, was cold, tumble dry low. Easy and is breaking in nicely!

RE: Unpopular opinions
I mean, it's hard to compare since Paul had so many more years of personal and professional life for people to critique. But I will say, after watching the Get Back doc, I get why George never said a word. Or, rather, never had a chance to say a word.

WTB 634S tag size 31 32 or 33, 21oz or 14oz
Looking to buy some 634S in size 31, 32, or 33, depending on measurements. Inseam can be as short as 29", but around 30-31" is ideal. Perfect flat waist would be about 16.5".
Prefer the classic 21oz in Indigo or black, but may also be interested in 14oz.
Whacha got?

@guiltyparty I was trying to describe them to a friend, and decided it sounds like if Hot Water Music was from France and used a chorus pedal.

RE: Music: Metal/Punk Rock
Been turned on to a lot of great French punk/oi bands lately.
Syndrome 81
Cran
Claimed Choice
Lion's Law
Béton Armé (technically from Montreal, but still French)What is happening there lately and why is the music so good? Anyone into any of these bands have any other similar recommendations?

RE: Unpopular opinions
Foo Fighters are one of those bands where I'm not going to buy an album, not going to spend money on tickets, and not gonna really think of them ever. But I wouldn't turn down a free ticket to a show. Saw them for free at the Ryman in Nashville on Halloween a few years back.

RE: BROTHERHOOD OF BIB
I will definitely pick up some indigo wabash and make it 4. I'd really love a pair in the same 11oz herringbone like the IH-735 pants. I don't need the duck ones (duck material has never really struck my fancy), and the white ones I know I'd get messy which is why I'd probably just dye them.
