@Stuart.T haha wow that’s perceptive, these photos are of Leigh-on-Sea. We aren’t residents, we live about 20 minutes away in Hornchurch - just inside M25 - but it’s where we head to when the kids are bored of endless lockdown forest walks. Whereabouts are you mate?

Hi @jerkules I though it was Leigh. We live a few miles away in Hockley (just off the A127 near Rayleigh). Leigh is lovely, I can understand why you'd need to get away from more built up areas, especially with a young family. We have a 5 Yr old son, and we are really fortunate to have an ancient woodland behind our house.

I know Hornchurch pretty well. I lived in Grays most of my life and went to college at Ardleigh Green! We still used to love going and having lunch at Roomes in Upminster, and I know Gary who owns Crazy Beat records pretty well. Pre lockdown I'd visit quite often. Ever fancy a coffee when this shit fest ends, just let me know

@Stuart.T oh wow no wonder you recognised it, you’re just up the road. You’re right about Leigh, it’s really lovely and has always been a favourite place for us. We’ve toyed with the idea of moving there for ages, but stars (and jobs) never aligned.

It’s a small world! My sister went Ardleigh college, and I live a couple of minutes walk from there. Roomes is a place I always used to go with my grandmother and have many nice memories there. And I only became aware of Crazy Beat very recently, can’t believe I didn’t know the place existed! Definitely intend to frequent after this is all over. Meeting up would be great sometime dude, I’ll definitely take you up on it when normality resumes!
