Does the Kersey 14oz feel much heavier or rougher to the touch than the 12oz UHF? As a new UHF purchaser i am noticing how they and the 9oz flannel repel the strong winds so nicely. Would the Kersey be similar in blocking winds?

It may feel rougher at first but softens up nicely but I wouldn’t say it’s comparable to UHF. UHF in my opinion are superior in blocking wind. At least I notice a difference while riding the bike.

@Dmart Thanks for the reply and insight. I too am so impressed riding a bike with IH flannel. Just today i rode with a fleece hoody and it didn’t block the wind at all. I work a bit at home in the winter months and am thinking the Kersey might be a great shirt for indoor winterwear when I frequently have to answer the door in the bitter cold to interact briefly with clients. The Kersey seems it would be comfy indoors and warm enough to tolerate open door wintery weather for a few minutes here and there.

First IH shirt that isn’t a UHF and what a wee belter! Lovely and soft; thick and substantial feeling but different from the way the uhf feels. Love that it looks like a denim shirt from afar but isn’t and that it looks like cord but it isn’t - it’s in a class all of its own

@mentalplane You are correct. Because it is reactive dyed, it should not fade.

@goosehd Thx. The IHSH-208-IND I have transferred too much dye onto my other articles of clothing. I kinda ruined one of my UES Ramayana T-shirts that's my fault though.

No plans I am afraid. This was originally a piece for the FW20 collection, and the re-run was a bit rare as we don't usually rerun items from a season's collection, so it's not very likely we will see this again. I am sorry.
