@Mizmazzle electricity coming through
-
@worn2fade starting to come alive for sure!
-
@Mizmazzle
Off to a great start homie! Love the updates, im living Vicariously threw your posts till can bust mine out for next II lol. -
@Mizmazzle They are looking good.
-
2 months to the day. Though not worn quite every day. Plenty of walks. A little jogging. A little biking. No water yet. A fun pair of trousers, for sure.

-
@Twistlock I'm a 634 convert now! First time I’ve liked having a cuff is with this cut. Lends itself well to it.
-
@Mizmazzle I agree with the ease of cuffing from a 634. My first two pairs were 634 and I enjoyed cuffing both.. 888 on the other hand… I don’t dig cuffs as much. I rock a double sometimes, but absolutely hate a Tokyo cuff on them. They never align perfectly LOL
-
@worn2fade totally man. I don’t cuff my 888s. I wear those when I want a cleaner hemmed look and my 634s when I want more of a cuff/ wider leg style.
-
60 ish+ days of wear, initial soak, one wash. So happy I gave the 634 a shot, this cut is so good.

I'm curious as to whether anyone can report on washing these in a top-loading machine on a gentle cycle including spin. I've never had to "baby" a pair of jeans before. Never had any issues washing 21oz on a regular wash with a regular high-speed spin. I don't want to get nasty streaks, but I'm also a little puzzled as to why the extra 4 ounces means these suddenly have to be handled with kid gloves.
Hoping a gentle cycle with its associated spin would be OK. Any real-world testimonials, though?!

@nurunuru Inside out ftw?
I'd wash 'em inside-out for sure. It's just reading through this thread a coupla months back left me with the impression that a too-aggressive spin cycle can magically turn these ugly.

I just washed my regular 25oz in a top loading machine. Delicate cycle, cold water, inside out and I took them out before the spin cycle started. My washer does not have a no spin option.
Make sure to hang dry & you’ll be fine!
-
@nurunuru I've had a pair of 21oz ib marble due to washing and not soaking them pre-wash, only ever happens to me with black pairs so I imagine XHSib would be no different, just make sure to pull them out once the cycle is done and don't leave them sitting all soaked and bunched up or you could get wavy too...

Same boat, I got a top loader without a no spin option. I just have to be within ear shot so I know when the washer starts spooling up

-
@Subprime that’s literally been me the last 2 days washing my XHS & 293 hahahah

Great point dude. Completely forgot to mention to pre-soak. I presoak my denim in soapy water for 30 minutes prior to the wash @nurunuru!
