One wash will make no difference to how it fades….On the basis that it should be soaked/washed before wear anyway...

If just to annoy Giles, I'll second a interest in an insulated "storm rider," perhaps with some of that alpaca he found in Peru and of course a corduroy collar 😃

        Think it, be it.

You know what would be badass? Ultra heavy buffalo check flannel lined 6634s!! My head just exploded!! Would they even be chainstitchable? I don't know if it would even fit through the fucking folder on a 43200.

You would have to get a 38 waist if you wore a 33 tts due to thickness 🙂

They made a flannel lined 634:

Not annoyed….It is a great idea and I may well do it.  But I do not have unlimited cash.  So I have to experiment and sample and release new stuff in some sort of measured and structured fashion.  We will see how the unlined version goes, then I will make a call.  Unfortunately, not everything I touch turns to gold, I was sure that the IH-526BJ would fly off the shelves, it did not.  I feel the same about the 101J, but again, only time (and you lot) will tell.

Ya….... A flannel lined corduroy is classic as apple pie though.

I have a pair of flannel lined mountain khaki ducks that are awesomeness, but iron heart flannel and corduroy would be next level together

Not sure are doing any more cord.  It did not fly off the shelves and it is an original fabric, so minimum quantity is large….

It's too bad because after wearing my 6634s all day yesterday I think I like them better than any other ih pants I own. I just kept rubbing them with my hand because they are as soft as velvet.

                          corduroy collar

(+ modified collar with "round ends" like on the MF Ranch)

As far as jackets go, no need to rinse or ever wash. I'd like it raw, one washed takes the fun out, just tell people no returns on raw items

The IH-526BJ was raw and did not sell, given that the denim is fantastic, I'm convinced that the main reason it did not sell is that people are more concerned about how a jacket shrinks than how a pair of jeans shrink.  I thought much like you, that people would love the fun of raw, I was wrong and I would be stupid to make the same mistake again. Not allowing returns kills sales.

And your comment about no need to soak or wash, is your opinion and one that which Haraki and I do not agree with.

Why not just do both, raw and one washed? Gives the raw guys certanty about the final measurements and the faint at heart can buy onewash right away?

Because guessing what number to get when there is one variation is difficult enough, when you double the options it gets harder still.  Plus we have to have more stock, which takes up space and requires greater investment etc etc etc
