IHSH-323-OD - 10oz Selvedge Denim Work Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black

I'm wearing this shirt as I write and it's pretty darn wonderful. I love the weight, it's substantial but not (the usual much loved) body armour feeling, better suited to warmer weather. The OD is particularly versatile is you want to tone down the straight up Canadian Tux. (I love a fine Canadian tuxedo but you know, but the dark color looks a lot less like denim, and that can be a plus.) I've discovered that I prefer work shirt designs to westerns, not likely a popular view but that's cool. I'm just grateful that IH made such a wonderful shirt. I plan to live in mine for months to come.

Do these run a bit longer than average on both front and back measurements or mostly the back? I am interested in buying one but would prefer it not to be overly long in front. The listed back length seems about 3/4" longer than my 275-BLK and 269-PPL.
I would contact customer service about measurements, but unfortunately IHUK doesn't have small left in stock.

That's what I aim to do. Just curious about the front length rather than the center back length.

Got the shirt in. My phone cannot capture how nice the fabric looks up close, but I promise it looks great. The included picture is right after the shirt arrived. I will take more soon.
This shirt actually did shrink in a hot wash. about 1/2" to 3/4" in length and feels a little more snug all around. I was a bit surprised since the description said to expect no shrinkage due to the overdye process but also glad because I wanted it to be shorter.

Here’s the preshrink vs post shrink fit. You can see how much shorter it is. The different jackets over the shirt may be a bit deceptive as the IH corduroy jacket is notably more cropped.

I imagine this one isn’t a big seller, but it’s a lovely shirt.

I'd imagine, in this day and age, people want fast faders. The very opposite of OD.

You’ll get one all right! I think this one’s really hard to capture in photos but it’s beautiful in person.

Well it arrived and it’s awesome. A button slightly loose but I can sew it on again.
Need to shift a couple more pounds and it’s a winner.
Total quality.

@DeeDee85 continuing the conversation here so we don’t derail WAYWT too much. This is the best I can do - all the pics were taken in the same place at the same time and I don’t think I changed any camera settings. #1 is a bit too blue,#2 is definitely too black and #3 is approximately true.
