It’s a very boxy cut.

This has become one of my favorite jackets, so much so I have two. Originally got an XL, thinking the L chest would be too small. Turns out the XL was a tiny bit too big, good for layering but too roomy with just a T-shirt. So I got a L used here on the forum and it fits great, it looks really good. I take L in most shirts but have an N1 and a 19L type 3 in M.

Will the lightweight N1’s of this season be the same pattern/cut as last seasons?

Yeah I agree. I received mine a few days ago and I like it a lot. I was worried that it would be a little big but it drapes differently than most of my other IH shirts so the fit is actually absolutely perfect. It looks better IRL than in the pictures too I think. Super happy with the purchase!

I would wear them for a week or so, to make them loosen up a little, and then soak and wash them again.

They went really fast. I got the last L. Not completely sure about sizing though, it may a little bit too big.

@DQ142 The waist shrinks about an inch when washing but will stretch back out almost immediately as soon as you put them on. So you can pretty much ignore that. The inseam will not stretch back out, so they will become about two inches shorter permanently after washing.

@Pointman I don’t know for sure but would assume so. I’ve been wearing mine for a full day for the first time today and I can already see slight color variations on friction points. So I would think it will fade fairly fast.

It has also already relaxed over the chest and in the arm openings, for anyone wondering. The pockets on mine are also slightly misaligned viewed from the front but they are exactly the same distance from the side seams and centered under the yokes. I would never have noticed unless reading this thread.

After a few days these are becoming one of my favorite jeans ever. I love how the fabric feels and I really like the fit of these for a slightly more relaxed silhouette. I’ve mostly worn slimmer cuts before but I have a pair of the 21oz 634’s, which are significantly wider below the knee. I like the fit of these 18oz 634’s a lot more.

I got mine the other day too. Super happy with the fabric and the fit.

@RocknRoll It’s a great summer denim. I have a pair 18oz 777 but I’m thinking it would be nice with a slightly more relaxed fit.

@goosehd Compared to the previous batch (with measurements now replaced with the new batch measurements), at least sizes 32 and 33 seem to differ a bit regarding at least back rise and hem width (with the current measurements indicating a lower rise and slightly wider hem). I may be wrong, I checked the measurements a couple days ago so I may remember incorrectly.

There seems to be a pretty big difference for sizes 32 and 33 at least, not sure about the other sizes though (since they’re usually not relevant to me, ). But I’m aware there are lots of factors affecting how they come out.

Were these made with a different pattern compared to the previous batch?

Got mine too. It’s not what I expected, it’s better. Pictures do not do this shirt justice. Instant favorite here too.

I’m hoping for a future restock with a slimmer silhouette, or a regular western version without the pockets. If you want a western style shirt in work shirt dimensions, this is the shirt to get. The fabric is really nice.

So quite substantial shrinking width wise and almost no shrinking length wise. They came out significantly tighter than pre wash but I managed to stretch the thigh and knee back out almost all the way. And the waist stretched back out too.
