The latest batch of these were pretty big, at least for M-L-XL sizes. I usually wear size L IH tops but I got a tag size M for the 19L and I can layer with whatever I want, UHF’s and thick hoodies included.

Buttoning and unbuttoning XHS is difficult the first couple of times. After that it’s like any other denim.

@FlavourFade https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//post/902434 Here's mine. A little bit big initially but not huge.

I usually take L in IH tops. I went for a M from the latest lefty batch and there’s still plenty room for layering with a shirt or hoodie, should I want to. It works great with just a T-shirt too.

@Mizmazzle Yeah, the RJ-2. Thanks! I also typically wear large IH shirts and I was looking at the medium RJ-2.

@Mizmazzle How’s the fit of these? What size IH shirts/tops do you typically wear and what size did you go for in this jacket?

@indigo_nico Yes, they shrunk in the thighs. Not sure if they are back where they were but they are wider now than after washing.

I actually measured mine again today. Was 33.9” waist when new, then soaked and washed and worn for about a month. They are now 34.2” waist.

My pair didn’t shrink nearly as much as I expected, even when washed at 40 degrees after a hot soak with agitation.

@Josso Happened to me with the L both at IH UK and IH Germany. L was sold out at Brunds too but managed to finally get one at Burg and Schild.

@jpvisual I think they look really good. They will shrink if washed hot and will not stretch back out uniformly. The waist and other places will stretch back out but most of the top block will not.

@rovdjurstorget Probably size up. I have 8 IH shirts, all are L. I tried the lightweight N1 in L and it was hilariously big and boxy on me, it felt like I could fit two of me inside it and it was still a bit short. I went for M in the regular N1 (navy, but they seem to be similar in size).

@Pinkpan Hehe ok, I had a -92 tobacco burst that looked just like yours. Really cool guitar. Early nineties Gibson was really good.

@Giles I get the roll up to some degree on other shirts too but this one came with it from the start and it was more pronounced. I was thinking that the shrinking from the OD process inceased it and it completely disappeared when I stretched the shirt. It also gained about ½" in length (TWSS).

For anyone who (like me) gets a little annoyed by the shirt hems curling up on this shirt, I carefully wetted the torso of my shirt down and then had my spouse help me stretch it length wise. It worked really good, the curls are now gone.
