@freepickin When I was picking up my jeans at Self Edge in LA, one of the gents had his 8301S SBGs chopped and it looked good. A matter of personal taste, of course, but I think ankle to slight break looks good on a tapered fit, whereas a wider leg opening looks better off the shoe to slightly/fully flooded. My 2 cents.

@ARNC My understanding is that the fabric mill needed to adjust for torquing in the knitting process, if requested by the customer. However, that is only something that they would know if R&D had been done thoroughly. Some folks just get their sample yardage, make a garment, and proceed without any testing though…
