You can’t buy one of these. You have to earn it by setting a class record at Bonneville over 300 MPH. They’re awarded by the SCTA. This one belongs to my friend, SFMC brother and SCTA member Jim Hoogerhyde. He fast.
He’s also forgetful. I found it in my kitchen after he and his wife left my house this evening. I’ll keep it safe for him - and no, I won’t try it on. Stollen valor ain’t my thing.

Meet Bloke - the Sgt. at Arms of the San Jose Dons MC. He’s originally from the East Midlands. Nottingham to be more precise. I previously posted a snap of his bike in front of our clubhouse. Now here he is with it at a Bar-B-Que at my place in Sonoma.
To my eyes he has the look of a man who’d be handy in a bar fight. The kind of man who knows how to deliver a decent head butt. He’s a great friend of the Club and I’ve never seen him act anything but the proper gentleman. Still, he has that look.
PS: His actual name is Harold. A fine English name, if you ask me.

I’ve read that Leo wasn’t a fan of figured maple for necks. He thought it was inherently less stable. I haven’t had any problems with it.
