Interestingly, I found the statue in Riga, Latvia:

RE: Trips and Travel
21oz denim and a slingshot to protect me from the many Latvian horse flies.
Sorry for not really interacting/responding here. I’m off grid and offline most of the time.

As a kid, I watched Magnum PI driving around the island in a Ferrari and dreamt of owning one. As I grew older, tastes changed to Porsche as I liked the lines of the car better. Seeing @Marc2706 posing the other day in front of his, only reinforces it. When a car from 1957 still looks 1000 times better than 99% of cars made today, you realize that maybe they are doing something right…
I absolutely see your point. Some things are just beautifully made.
I'm not a car person (I have a VW Caddy ...). However I am sympathetic with your desire for a beautiful car.
I am contemplating the idea of buying a lugged steel bicycle frame that is far too heavy and doesn't even allow for contemporary breaks. Importing such a frame from the US to Germany is economically a silly idea.
But at the end of the day it's all about beauty.

@Tago-Mago I don’t know about that. Our speed limit on the local 401 is 110km/h, everyone travels 120-130km/h ...
Yeah, but that's the point. What do you do with the other 3 gears?

I dream of buying a Rivendell bike frame one day.

Is there any chance for this to drop next week? From the 11th on I’ll be travelling Latvia and I don’t plan on being online

RE: IH-634S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo
Is it a normal part of a consumer's IH journey that at one point the 634 becomes their favourite cut?

RE: + TEA. THAT'S IT: TEA. THE END. +
@pechelman I also love the return you get when investing in higher quality tea. You can really get a lot of tea out of higher grade leaves, since you can brew the same leaves many times over and taste all the different nuances.

RE: + TEA. THAT'S IT: TEA. THE END. +
@Seul That's a great investment! Does it work with pu'er?
I just cold-infuse my green tea for about 15-20 minutes. By then the tea has a rather sweet flavour, since the bittern does not really get released much at low temperatures. I love Fukamushi for cold brews, because the deep steamed tea reales its flavours quite generously.

Did a little tariff panic buying and enjoying a free sample that came with the order. None of it was hit yet with one thankfully.
That looks tasty ad! I really need to dive into Chinese teas.

Anyhow... It's summer... It's been fucking HOT (up to 38C°), so I decided against buying expensive tea... Just cheap shit to drink at work and whilst hiking...
I'd recommend buying a high quality Fukamushi and using the cold brew method. It'll change your summer life <3.
