Rubbed part showing grey and white... No indigo ...
After taking a good bath of 1/3 bleach for 30 min...
Chilling in a bath of soap for 1 hour, definitly grey and white no indigo in it at all... Okayama denim or Denimio i don't remember will receive a gentle mail tomorrow ^^
It will see the washing machine then + dryer to get all the shrinkage gone, and tomorrow lets iron these bad boys on it ^^
@Oaktavia That project is so special, i love it dude !!! I have a Oni denim Indigo / black secret denim jacket 20 oz that i'm selling cause it has absolutly no indigo in it, on some forums people shows 2-3 years of wear on that jacket and it is just a double black jacket fading to grey then white, i've rubbed sand paper inside the jacket to check and it has no indigo in it at all, i don't know how the guys at Oni fucked it up but 400 euros for a ID / BK jacket that is just a BK / BK jacket sucks and you notice it years later, so i have decided to give it a full heavy bleach bath tomorrow trying to see how it will turns out, i'm looking for something like chocolate / caramel almost orange rust mixed with black on some parts where the denim is thicker, i will agitate it has much as possible cause i'm looking for a uniform pattern and i really don't want it to looks like it has been tied and dyed.
Now that your vest is well faded and with a nice pattern why don't you overdye it indigo on top to maximize the faded potential ? XD

1 full year of daily wear on my DD and finally soaked it for the first time yesterday, couldn’t be happier with the result, duck will rest in my closet for winter and come back early spring for one more year of heavy action 
@denim-dawg That fabric is evolving sooo quickly, mine is still raw, i am struggling with myself to not wash it right now as i want to see it clean and well contrasted, but i know later is better ^^

Also i always have the same problem with my jackets no matter the brand, at the very bottom of the back inside the jacket the chainstitch never last very long, i have good fading action around that part of the jacket and the stitching just get cut sooner than later but only inside, from outside you couldn't tell it's damaged , 1st shot is my DD, 2nd shot is my leftie pretty well worn compared to the DD and as you can see the bottom of that jacket is a mess, i also have a Momotaro jacket worn for 3 years in the same state, anybody here facing the same issue ? It's rubbing against my belt or belt loops only, pretty sure about that.
Wow these UHFs are flying in the middle of summer, everything is almost gone XD
I was on the fence upgrading it with pearl snaps, pretty sure it would have been awesome but didn't pulled the trigger in front of the cart, stay classic with that one ^^

How much shrinkage with a hot soak can you get from chest / general measurements with UHFs ? I'm usually a perfect L so i wash them cold, if i size down to a M shoulders might be a bit narrow.
Would it be a better option to take the biggest size of the two and make it shrink or take the smallest of the two and ask the crew for the largest shoulders measurements in stock ???
