Appears I'll be in Japan the end of September through the Silver Week holidays. Only things I know for sure is I'll be Tokyo and Osaka at some point. I plan on visiting Iron Heart. But I'm wondering, if I'm going to be in both Tokyo and Osaka, do I need to visit the Hachioji store vs the much more accessible Osaka store? Do they carry much more stock at Hachioji? Everyone here is going to tell me to visit both, right?

Really impressed with this one. Almost impossible to photograph the lighter blue color but it's a showstopper. SUPER excited to see how this one fades. These photos don't do it justice. Sad the Texas Sun dictates I won't get to wear it until October. Now if only I could get my family to plan all work trips to Japan around all the Iron Heart release dates...

RE: FOR SALE : IH 48 KHA - 12oz N1 lightweight in Khaki (XL) - $425posted in Stuff for Sale
I'd love to make you an offer. I'd love to so much that I just went and measured all my best fitting jackets but I think this just might be too big for me. My IHJ-09 - Cotton Serge Windbreaker XL runs 24 in the chest with no liner and my Rogue Territory Lined Waxed Canvas Ridgeline Supply Jacket - Sz. XL, which I imagine would be closest in fits and density to your N-1, even with the liner, runs 23.5 in the chest. Both are already a tad large with room for layers. Bummer, but if you have a Lightweight N-1 in L, I'm your man.

When did IH switch from sewn-in cloth placards/ hanger tags on the pocket to the paper ones we see today on the IH-666-XHS - 25ox? Recently acquired this pair that still has ones sewn in and trying to date them. Thanks for any input.

Can anyone identify this work or chore jacket? I've gone through the forum and the internet but I'm stumped. Thanks. -

One-Washed
- Post construction, we wash the completed garment in an aggressive industrial washing machine. This process removes virtually all potential shrinkage.
- No further shrinkage is expected when washed according to our care guidelines
Care Guidelines - We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry
Wow. Is there's some sort of IH signal that shines in night sky when someone posts a question as such!?!? Thanks for the quick answer!

I wonder if we should expect any post-wash shrinkage if we wash on cold and hang dry? Not thinking so.

I know this isn't for sale yet but how are we feeling on sizing? Should it run pretty similar to the classic chambray work shirt, IHSH-21? I don't want to screw this one up and order the wrong size. Thanks.

He’s created a batch of workwear patterns and teaches you how to sew them. Nothing new in that, but what is great is the WhatsApp group he’s created to support this, where you can get advice from starting out to more advanced adaptations and your own designs. It’s become a real community. Recommend having a look.Ah this is great. Some good insight and gives me some goals to works towards. Thanks so much.

RE: Short Guy CPO Hemmingposted in Cut & Sewn
Hello. Longtime lurker, first time poster. I've always been curious about learning to sew. Seeing that this thread (pun intended) is filled with people who share the same interests in heavyweight denim and clothes, does anyone have suggestions on where one might start? I've thought about trying to find a local class or something. Would love to eventually be able to chain stitch and darn my own denim let alone take in clothes. Thanks.
