    • RE: IH-1955S - 21oz Selvedge Denim "1955" Vintage Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo

      Seems like these are actually going to work for me. I pulled some dims on my main work pants this AM and naturally forgot to measure front and back rise. But the thigh measurements seem appropriate for me. Debating between size 33 and 34, but my decision will much more clear once I've pulled rise dimensions on my current pants. Very eager to have the firm, but respectful hug of IH 21oz denim back in my daily wear rotation.

      For peace of mind - are any USA IH stockists getting this run?

      @Alex I will continue checking back then, thank you.

      Glad to hear there is a pending restock of the 21oz. The local stockist mentioned some 14oz being released, but the 21oz is what I really prefer.

    • RE: IH-1955S - 21oz Selvedge Denim "1955" Vintage Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo

      So we're looking at a potential restock of 1955 in 21oz indigo this month?

      I don't have any jeans that currently fit me well. Would supplying a measurement of my thigh suffice? I could provide a measurement of the thigh of my work pants, I suppose.

      I'm leaning towards picking up a pair of these based on the straight leg vs the 888s. I don't like the feeling of my calves being constantly hugged. I also miss my IH 21oz denim dearly and would like to put some back in the rotation.

      @Alex ahh I'd missed that comparison chart. Will the 1955s be added to that chart? Curious how the seat / thigh area compare between them and the 888s.

      My local IH stockist doesn't carry 888s or 1955s, but I may have to swing by soon enough to discuss.

      Coming back to IH after some time away. I miss my IH 777 21oz dearly, but they don't fit anymore after taking up weight lifting a couple years ago....

      Is the 1955S cut the most roomy jeans through the thigh (relative to the waist measurement) that IH offers?

    • RE: IHSH-334-RED - Ultra Heavy Flannel Classic Check Work Shirt - Red

      Picked this up locally. Favorite IH flannel in awhile. First IH workshirt for me too, and I definitely prefer the cut / fit to the Western.

      Perfect colorway for the Bills v. Chiefs game tomorrow too. I'll try not to spill beer on it. Cheers to the IH team for this gem!

      Ahh, I appreciate it. I'm always too eager on this stuff.

      My sizing has also been shifting around, so just want to ensure I get something I can wear.

      Is there a size chart available for this garment yet?

      I'm going to have to part with some other flannels and start saving for this. Gorgeous pattern.

      @manufc10:

      @FlannelnBooze:

      I'll be blunt - I'm not much of a slub person. But got notice that a local stockist was getting this in, and had to go check it out in person (local IH stockists are new to me too.)

      I walked out with a pair. Absolutely stoked on them. They're quite airy and light compared to the 21oz, which is to be expected. Otherwise, they're fitting well enough I suspect they'll be getting the bulk of my attention in terms of wear time.

      Those wash photos make me even more glad I picked up a pair.

      I'm not much of a slub person myself but Im still considering picking up a pair of these in the future so I appreciate the input.  Too much intensity in a slubby fabric can be a bit too much visually for me and I feel like these are right on the brink of that. I've looked at as many pics as I can of this fabric but the only way for me to truly tell will be to see them in person.

      These are still quite intense to my eyes, but I do feel like they calm down a little when wearing them vs. laying flat.

      I find a lot of construction details on other slubby denim to be a turn off for me. At that price point, there shouldn't be rips in stitching, or curly pockets. The IH have none of those flaws, even after looking over two pairs in my size in person. It's the quality we expect from IH, but it's another reason I finally purchased a pair of slubby denim. Though, I fully anticipate my 21oz will still get the majority of my wear time, and still be my travel pair of denim.

    • RE: IHM-30-IND - Whipcord N1 Jacket - Indigo

      @Joberwocky:

      Man @ARNC , salt on the wound  😃
      I got the olive one this year, and while it's obviously not indigo, I've been more than impressed with it's quality and color.  Color.aside, can't go wrong with any of the N1's

      I tried on an olive one and loved it, but if I'm spending the money, I'd rather have indigo.

      Doesn't seem like it's much of an option either way, they're all sold out everywhere at this point.

    • RE: IHSH-326-OD - 12oz Selvedge Denim Work Shirt With Snaps - Indigo Overdyed Black

      @Jett129:

      I did the HD Black snap upgrade on the Indigo version. It’s pretty dark so that should give you some idea. Also the 33OD Western comes with Black snaps.

      Think I enjoy the look of a workshirt more than a western. Just see myself wearing the workshirts more.

      Nice on the upgrade. I was eyeing the IND version, but was considering keeping it plain, then pimping out the OD with either black or copper. Copper would match my black and copper belt….

      Cheers.

      Any glamour shots of the IHSH-326-OD with black button upgrade?

      Am considering blacking mine out, but the contrast of OD and white is also pretty sharp.

    • RE: IHSH-322-IND - 10oz Selvedge Denim Work Shirt - Indigo

      @Giles:

      Completely different weaves, the 10oz actually looks and feels like chambray (we have used a relatively thin weft and thicker warp, which results in a smoother face), I'm guessing it is a probably a little higher tensioned than the 12oz

      I was thinking the 10oz looked pretty airy. The 12oz sounds like the move for me. As always, thanks for the help.

      I probably only have the funds for one, so curious how the feel differs between this and the 12oz shirt. Either one a tighter weave?

      In an ideal world, I'd buy both, but that's not happening right now.  😃

      Nope.

      Will publish sizing when we get them here.

      But we are getting the 12oz workshirts with snaps here in the next couple of weeks….

      Goodness. Good to know.

      My biggest IH regret is not buying the 12oz denim workshirt with snap buttons. This is a must buy.

      Any sizing info available? Want to get this right from the start.

    • RE: IHJ-85-BLK - Waterproof Harrington-Style Windbreaker Jacket – Black

      Curious how this fits compared to the Storm Rider IH jacket, especially in the chest area.

      I picked up the IH Storm Rider in medium. It fits me alright, but is a touch bulky. I see a couple 'larges' up for sale, for both the the black and navy IHJ-85. I'm thinking these will be too big, and I'll have to hold out for a medium or small, but curious to hear the opinions of those who have the jacket. Just don't see these crop up for sale often.
