Bumpity bump

Selling a pre-worn Iron Heart IH-526L (19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III Jacket - Indigo).

Tag size Medium / 38.

This is a catch and release, purchased via the Forum -- it's unfortunately slightly too big for me. Was really hoping it would work, now looking to recoup some and get the same jacket in a smaller size.

It has been hot soaked, and won't shrink any further. Measurements (using IH method):

• Shoulders: ~17.75"
• Length: ~25"
• Chest (P2P): ~20.75"
• Waist: ~19"
• Opening: ~19"
• Sleeve: ~25.5"
• Sleeve opening: ~4.5"

Showing some light wear and initial fades, with blues popping at wear areas; note that there's some light marbling on the back.

Going down the jacket rabbit hole -- I also snagged a IH-526J-142OD Type 3 jacket from @oltom . I'm a relative newbie to the IH Forum, after having dabbled with other brands and then seeing the light -- starting with some 888S-21's followed by additions. I'm enjoying the learning -- and the fading -- journey with my IH's. Situated south of Los Angeles, CA, and luckily close to some stockists.

I really appreciate the deep bench of knowledge and friendly info sharing here on the Forum -- as well as the amiable assistance from the IH crew.

My other 888's in size 31 are pretty much right at 31" for the waist measurement -- and are on-point, not overly tight or anything.

The XHS that I'm considering in size 30 measures 30.5" -- and size 31 measures 31.5". (All measured IH method).

Hi everyone --

Newbie here.

I'm puzzling over the sizing of the IH-888-XHS 25 oz. -- in relation to the 888's that are sanforized and one-washed.

Did you go with the same size, or drop down a size (factoring in a shrink from initial soak/wash, then stretching back)?

I'm size 31 in the IH-888S-142, IH-888S-142bb, and IH-888S-21 -- all perfect fits. The measurements for size 30 in the XHS look like a close dimensional match to those, whereas size 31 looks like it would be a tad too loose.

Re-reading the 1,132+ postings here (including related questions/answers from Nashville60, Yannis, edubz, popvulture, schraiber) and elsewhere on the interwebs, and still muddled -- and would appreciate your advices and suggestions.
