      Won't get made again…...

      But there may be a 10oz version with buttons coming at some time..... 😶 😶 😶 😶

      When you say it won't get made again, do you mean that the workshirt with snaps will replace it?  Or won't that get made either?

      I've been experiencing lately, that I don't get e-mail notifications for all the thread I'm subscribed to.  Seems to be random which threads I'm subscribed to that I get notifications.

      Has anything changed in that regards or is a fault of some sorts?

      That's a shirt I'd snap up in an instant!

      Another idea is finding a skilled tailor and have the sleeves taken in.

      @Alex_24:

      It’s in my shopping cart [emoji1622] I’m going to get it very soon. I just hope Euro notes fit in there as well [emoji387][emoji2369][emoji41]

      Looking forward to hear your thoughts when you get it!

      @sabergirl:

      I don’t have this wallet (wish I did). That said, I have a 4 pocket leather wallet, and have it holding seven cards. All but one of the slots is stacked with two cards. Neither cards or wallet have ended up the worse for wear IMO

      I should play around with my current wallet (IHG-089) and see how double carding holds up.  Is your current wallet from IH?

      I've always thought that the Euro banknotes were a weird design choice.  Banknotes getting longer by each denomination is not uncommon, but also growing taller?  Such a pain that the €500 banknotes sticks out of my wallet!

      Oh wait, I've never had a €500 note, thanks to too many money-pit hobbies.  But it's the thought that counts!

    • RE: IHG-098 - 21oz Selvedge Denim Wallet

      I was one of the voices yammering on about wanting a denim wallet.  Well, it's finally here but I'm feeling hard pressed to only have 4 card slots, 6 would have been ideal.

      Anyone here get one yet?

      As a podcast junkie I am so delighted that this came out!  Great listen and I agree that a denim polo would be outstanding!  😎

      Looking forward to Alex in the next round!

    • RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

      Just had a thought; would a red/black buffalo in a western cut with regular non-snap buttons get some love?  With aluminium buttons?

      Perhaps in a lighter weight to differentiate it with the ultra heavy flannel red/black buffalo.

      @BULLITT:

      I have access to a glass blasting machine at work, I've given the metal bits of the belt a treatment with the glass blaster, giving it a satin matte finish.

      I should add, that it also removed the patina on my belt during the process.  I too wasn't a fan of the look.

      @JDelage:

      I'd like a polo made of indigo thread, the same thread the denim's warp is made of.

      I'd buy that.  Preferably with a chest pocket, but no biggie if it came without.

      With the risk of sounding a bit daft, but what makes a CPO shirt if it doesn't have side pockets?  Isn't it just a regular western shirt if side pockets are emitted?

    • RE: IHPS-01 - Ultra Heavy Short-Sleeved Polo Shirt

      @Alex:

      We pulled them off as we are not happy the pattern is in fact the same as the previous lot. We were not told they were a rerun, so assumed they were a restock. It looks like that maybe not the case.

      Would I be correct to assume these are gone for good then?

    • RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

      @Giles:

      It's massively capital intensive, requires a shit load of water, which needs to be cleaned after use (which is one of the reasons it is getting more and more expensive), and even after cleaning, that water cant just be chucked down a domestic drain, there is a large amount of wastage (garments getting wrecked in the OD process), and after all that the patches have to be sewn on and the garments ironed.

      We lost a whole run of jeans once, this is a savage process, which is why the result of our overdyeing is probably better than anyone else out there.

      Hey Giles,

      Thanks for the detailed explanation, makes me appreciate overdyed denim even more.  A while back you guys released short films about the denim making process, was overdyed covered in one of the videos by chance?
