@Punatnik that looks great! You’ve been wearing it pretty hard, eh? I’ve been wearing mine for as much as this Southern California weather would allow. I’ve just started to get some contrasting on the elbow honeycombs and some very light electric blues coming out on the cuffs.

Third monthly check in for these SEXIH25-633. The whiskers are starting to show more contrast. The slubbiness is starting to pop! It’s difficult to capture, but it looks awesome in the sunlight. There’s a fuzziness to the denim too. Three months down! Nine more to go.

RE: IHSH-295-BB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Black/Blackposted in Shirting
@FlavourFade thanks! I’m still trying to figure out what works best for me as far as sizing goes. The shoulders are just a bit small for me, but I’m hoping it’ll stretch out a little bit. I was going for a fitted look with this shirt anyways, so I think it works.

RE: IHSH-295-BB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Black/Blackposted in Shirting
I picked up this piece recently from @HalfPastNever. This is my first IH shirt, so I was a little worried about the shoulder measurement being just a tiny bit too small. I decided to take a chance, and luckily it worked out for me.
I was looking for a black shirt. I was torn between this or the 361. Ultimately, I went with the 295. I want to wear it primarily as a shirt with a t-shirt underneath. It’s a bit stiff at the moment, so it doesn’t drape as nicely as the broken-in ones I’ve seen on here. But that makes me more excited to start breaking this one in for myself. I’d also like to add the 295-IB in the future.

RE: Rolling Dub Trioposted in Footwear
Just to add another data point
Brannock 8.5D
Alden Plaza 8.5D
Alden Trubalance 8D
Viberg 2030 8Based off of recommendations I received, I went with 7.5 for the Casper’s. I really wanted to love them, but the 7.5 was way too small for me. I’d say I have pretty generic feet. But there’s no way going 1 whole size down from Brannock would’ve worked for me. I ended up selling them for a huge loss. I might try a size 8 one day, but I’ll have to try them on before purchasing. If that’s a possibility for you, I’d highly recommend going that route.

Hello! I’m interested in purchasing this, but I live in the US. Do you know how much the total would be to be shipped to California?

Thanks for all the feedback! I appreciate it. Can’t wait to finally get my first UHF!

RE: IHSH-436-RED - Ultra Heavy Flannel American Check Western Shirt - Red "The Watermelon Man"posted in Shirting
Do UHF stretch at all? I’m kind of in between a side Large and Extra Large. I need something with a 22” chest measurement and 19” shoulder measurement.
Size Large has my ideal chest measurement, but the shoulders are 0.5” smaller than ideal. On the other hand, size Extra Large has my ideal shoulder measurement, but the chest is 2” bigger than ideal.
Any input/siggestions?

Purchased directly from Snake Oil Provisions in February 2025; Received August 2025. Worn lightly less than five times. It’s a beautiful light jacket with some amazing sashiko fabric. I’ve got a few different jackets that I reach for more often than this one, so this one has to go.

FS: Size 40 Butterscotch x Addict Clothes TRI Jacketposted in Buying and Selling
Purchased directly from Butterscotch in February 2021. This was my first quality leather jacket, and my most expensive purchase to date. This jacket had the unique features that I was looking for in a jacket at that time. Unfortunately, my excitement clouded my judgment. Lots of assumptions and mistakes were made regarding the sizing. I didn’t take proper measurements, so it was always a bit more snug than I would’ve liked from the beginning. I tried to convince myself that’s how it was supposed to fit, and that it would break in eventually. After about three fall/winter seasons of wear, it has broken in. Despite being broken in, it still fits very snug. Combine that with going to the gym, this jacket no longer fits comfortably. I love this jacket. My goal is to eventually get another one in the correct size.
As you can see in the pictures, it has been broken in. That being said, it has tons of life left. There is some wear and tear in the inside lining on the left wrist due to rubbing on my watch. Other than that, there are no issues with the jacket.
Tommy from Butterscotch put together a very detailed write-up for this piece. The link is attached.

@northsouthdenimguy I’ve been eyeing the camel oiled steerhide one for a bit. I would love if they released the western shirt in their Kakishibu leather.

@Denimhead-0 it has been too hot in Southern California to wear it recently. But I’ve got a few pictures showing some wear.
This was when it was “new”. I bought it secondhand.

This was about a year after I received it, with about 6-7 months of wear.

I really enjoy that it’s a bit more fitted and tapered.

@Denimhead-0 looks great on you sir! I have the Tom Western and it’s one of my favorite pieces. Yours will break in beautifully.

@the_indigodevil Looks like we’re wearing the same exact jeans! Same size and everything. It’ll be cool to see how different/similar they’ll look at the end. Just stated following you on IG too.
