I'd be pissed about the scratches and the black mark on the left vamp. Looks like someone tried them on, but no real wear. And the grain break is coming - it sure did on mine. I have that exact pair and have worn about them 25-30X and the break and scratches are all over the place. I gave up trying to keep the natural CXL clean and I'm just beating them to hell. I'd attach pics, but I don't have them with me today. They get so much darker and develop a rich, caramel color. I love the patina on these. The natural CXL roughout version is taking a bit longer to darken up.

@northsouthdenimguy what are those? I see the crimp marks and recognize the waxed flesh, but can’t positively ID the toe shape! Pray tell…

@Davids_denim I know it's been a while since your post, but do you have any insight as to the fit of your Mr. Lou's? Like a comparison to Brannock, Vibergs, Lofgrens, etc?

I would love to see a N-1 with a 21oz denim shell over some off white wool. I’d pay a premium for a couple of those!

@Jcaz6996 what happened to this piece? I thought you were going to wash it and post pics?

@CosmoSix5 I’ve found that the western cuts have a narrower shoulder measurement which, for my build, shortens the sleeve length. This over shirt shows a wider shoulder which will push the edge of the shoulders out just enough to cover the shorter sleeve length. Hope this helps.

Mahomes in some Wabash. It looks like the 416-IND based on the contrast double needle stitching along the shoulder and around the armhole.

@goosehd Thanks for the link. I should clarify—I wasn’t looking for an exact date. But based on the timing of prior FW ’23 and ’24 IHSH launches in the calendar, would late September to mid-October be a fair estimate for this one?

Any ideas on when this will hit the market?

I need this shirt in 10 oz, 12 oz and 16+ oz. CPO, flannel and western. Copper snaps, Permex snaps, and Good art. All of it.
