@Oaktavia looks great with those Zerrows sandals
This cut is so comfortable and the denim has a really soft hand. I’m also looking forward to the 684S-16oz Slubby.

Wearing them almost daily since March. Coming along nicely. Washed them a few times at 30C already, and just recently washed them 40C and machine dried them with neglible shrinkage, if any. Took them out of the machine still a bit damp and wore them to dry.
I like also that they have some nice leg twist going on.
Tough call here, between these and the 16oz. SLB
@tvaillant75 As mentioned by @goosehd these are a twill weave so there should be 2-3cm of stretch available in the waist.
That said, I like my pants relatively loose, especially a lighter-weight painters pants, so I go with the measurements as close as possible to what I want them to be, knowing they’ll loosen up a bit. That’s what belts are for. But that’s simply my personal preference.
With these I’m right in-between waist sizes, but the thigh measurement is important to me because that does not stretch, so I will probably go with the larger waist size to be sure I have enough room in the thigh, and put a note in the order asking the IHUK Crew to find me one as close to my ideal waist size as possible with my minimum thigh measurement.
@baz I wear my painters pants hemmed with boots, but tend to cuff them with tennis shoes or Birkenstocks. They look good either way, just depends what you prefer.
@Giles @Tago-Mago You guys are so quick, you both answered twice while I was still typing
@Edward42 the IH-634S - 21oz. Indigo is sanforized & one-washed, so there is negligible to no shrinkage remaining, as long as you wash them 30 degrees Celsius with low or no spin, and hang dry, there shouldn’t be any shrinkage. No need to soak/wash before hemming.
@Ross So IHUK is not stocking this one, only retailers?
@Bailey ok, mate. that makes sense. The grey buttons look great as is anyway.
@ShopatIronHeart I assume we can upgrade the snaps to Good Art, right?
@Davieaston nice one, perfect fit
@goosehd @Crease @Alex @Jack @tody @Tago-Mago Everybody is looking great in these
@Shane-B Giuli looks great in everything
Also, I think these jeans look great cuffed with Birkenstocks due to the wider leg opening. Looking forward to summer.
@moskiitto for sure
my new favorite cut
@Axel-HH @Oaktavia @Denimhead-0 Thanks, dudes!
I like these 684 a lot. So comfortable. Looking forward to seeing how they develop. Already developed some big creases behind the knees, should fade nicely.
@Oaktavia Looks great, dude! The fit is spot on and goes well with Birkenstocks
And they just get better and better with wear. The 684 may become my new favorite cut. If so, I might have to change my profile photo.
Regarding the new fit, the measurements could be a bit deceiving in the sense that, even though the thigh measurements are similar to the 634, the knee measurements are a bit wider, resulting less taper from thigh to knee and a lot more room in the thigh are. To me the fit a kind of a cross between the 634 and the Painter Pants. Relaxed, Straight fit. I like them. Very comfortable.

As @tody said, it’s very hairy denim and softens up nicely after a few hours wearing. Very vintage vibes. Good stuff.
