And my own hand sew wallet using xhsib’s leftover hemmed material and leather.

Day 3 with SoSo Ghost Denim 25oz. To be honest this pants is much much much lighter compared to xhs/xhsib.

I don’t know if this is the right place to post this or not, but I wanna take this time to share my happiness with you guys. I decided to make my own wallet with the leftover hemmed material of 666 xhsib and I really happy with the results. I asked my friend to teach me to sew leather, made the pattern, etc. it took me 2 months to complete this wallet and I’m so happy now. And now I’m thinking to make a watch strap using leather + xhsib material and a small pouch if it’s possible (and still have some leftover of it).

Day 29 of wearing and around 130km of walking. Not pretty much of change, but it’s easy to spot the gradual fades on all area.

Day 7 wearing this and I never knew that I can be so obsessed with a pants.

I have about 400+ fragrances of designer, niche, artisans, oils and attars in total and this is just a drawer next to my bed actually. Consist of my own brand’s products, some rnds or something that my dearest one gave to me.
And about your question, as someone that’s been collecting fragrances for almost 2 decades, there’s no such thing as expired, my brother. It’s all just about how you store and keep them good or not. I have lots of vintage fragrance from most of the big designer houses from 1960-1980 and they’re still fabulous. And for the true collector, the price and value have increased significantly.

Was about to join with 666 XHSIB at first. But the plan was changed because I have to wear SoSo Ghost’s Denim 25oz. So I wear the XHSIB for local’s competition. Lets see if I can wear them both at the same time or I have to keep them 50:50 at max

My recommendation is to hot soak them and get it out of the way. Having said that there are people that never soak them and just wear them. Looks like you have them hemmed. Did you take into account that you will probably loose 1 inch in the inseam?

Noted. I was planning to just wear then and soak/wash later. Maybe around month 6-8. But kinda worry that it will shrink in some areas and will make the fades area shifts a bit.

And yes. I hemmed them to get a single cuff look on my boots. Plus the tailor said they gave extra 1 inch for the shrinkage portion.

Actually not much different on the inside part. Just like any others medium/long wallet. I made it because I really missed my redmoon wallet that got stollen last year

Some small detail from today’s fit. Featuring some indigo bleed on my crouch of course. It’s amazing about how fast this fabric bleeds especially on the crouch and whisker area.

I wouldn't wait 6 to 8 months before they see water. You will get some shifting for sure. Just get it out of the way is my opinion

Hahaha, yeap. Since this is my first IH, I didn’t know that even this one’s sanforized, it’s most likely not so much different with unsanforized from other brands.

What do you think about using it for 3-4 weeks then soak it after that?

And is it okay if I ask for opinion in here regarding to my 666?

I bought this one online with slim chance to try on before. So I really don’t know which type is the best for me.
If it’s okay, I really need some opinion about is it the right cut for me or not, judging from the picture.

Haven’t soak it yet, and still have some room in all areas. I think hot soak will not harm the fit, right?
I have quite big thigh measurement, that’s why I chose the 666 cut

I read all posts in this sub group topics from the starts. And still amaze that @twin break the same 777 XHsib not once but twice. And still thinking to get the third one?!

I just bought my 666 xhsib and fairly new to the brand. That’s why I try to gather as much as info possible about this beast.

Yeah, considering we just brought a new baby home today and she's only had 2 hrs of sleep since Monday, I'd say she's fair and reasonable.  I got here about 10 minutes before the delivery guy.

Or is she cruel… she wouldn't let me see the jeans long enough to get them bottoned.  I only managed the top one to make sure they fit, the rest would have required time, beer, a wrench, and possibly a strong friend to manage.  Lucky for me I usually have all those things handy on xmas morning anyway.  I would imagine Giles cringes every time someone orders a hem on these, I wouldn't want to run them through a rare vintage sewing machine for fear of personal injury and mechanical catastrophe.

I know this one’s really old post (not for me, but I read this all post from the very first?), but we have a same spot. The difference is that I told my wife I got my pair by trading some of my niche perfumes that I bored of to my friend (really happened once)

Have myself a couple of their article. Their fabric surely is having a massive potential for fading. But to be honest, nothing beats IH at this point.

Yeah, Stevie. Lucky enough to get myself a pair in Bangkok. They didn’t have it anywhere else, even the brand considered it as sold out on all over its distributor.
