We're happy to announce that we're finally ready to release a collaboration we've been working on for (literally) five years. New fabric development in Japan has slowed down quite a bit over the years, and after quite a lot of back and forth with both IH UK and JP teams, we've just finished production on a new denim which we think is quite nice.

With this new 19oz denim we looked at all the denim styles ever created by Iron Heart and tried to produce something which encapsulated a little bit from each denim they've produced, from their 14oz all the way up to their 25oz denim.

We were so pleased with the denim we thought it would only be right to do all the "greatest hits" in indigo and overdyed versions. We have the 633 straight tapered jean, the 301 slim tapered jean, a CPO shirt, and a modified Type III jacket. All done in indigo and overdyed, along with a special printed t-shirt which will release at the same time as the rest of the collection on May 31st.

We're having a release party at Self Edge Los Angeles on May 31st with the full Iron Heart UK and Japan teams in attendance, hope some of you can make it!

I'll be using this thread to post measurements and photos of the jeans in a couple of weeks, in the meantime..

Yes, we've measured everything, and other than the waist running small on the jeans the entire collection came out looking perfect. We'll have measurements up a week or so before the release.

It's interesting, the fabric is fairly pliable considering what it looks like and the weight. Visually it looks like the type of denim which is quite stiff even if it's been factory rinsed, but it's quite comfortable right off the bat. I've been wearing a pair for a month now and it's extremely comfortable.

There are 5 SE stores across USA and Mexico so it's quite a complex process for getting them to the right place and I imagine dims, pics and everything else is all in hand. It's been a long time in the making so keep an eye on the threads and it will come when it comes.

Does the new indigo 19oz denim feature a beige weft, such as many other indigo denims IH has to offer?

What sets this 19oz denim apart from the 19oz LHT or 19oz indigo/black (aside from the obvious weft color)? Is it RHT and is the denim hairy, smooth, slubby? Something else?

I see that the "W" is charcoal grey in color (correct?), are the arcs the same thread color? Will the W be the same on the Type III or will it be red?

I think I am mostly interested in the CPO! Another 19oz CPO that is different than the IHSH-409. I'd love to know how they are different.

We have some answers!
This denim has a medium/dark indigo warp and a natural weft, so the fades will be a little brighter with wear and you can see a bit more of the weft through the warp.
This 19oz denim is quite different than both of the existing IH 19oz denim styles, we'll have specs up closer to the release plus high-res images so you can compare the way the denim looks to previous fabrics.
The (normally red) W is now in dark charcoal on all 8 of the garments, and the little woven Iron Heart tag on the pocket of the CPO is also in a charcoal/black color.

We've got these coming to all Self Edge stores so we'll have them in-store and online on release day, I believe we got a total of 40 across all of our stores. Excited to finally get these into the shops, the sample we saw in Paris last year looked amazing.

Been wearing the indigo, sized up 2 sizes from the size I should be wearing to achieve a loose and wide fit. So I've gotten no waist stretching due to the waist being so big on me and wearing them with a belt. Will wait another week or so before I snap some photos of the 2 month mark of wearing them.

MISTER FREEDOM SUMMER COLLECTION & BLANK T-SHIRTS

Mister Freedom Homesteader shirts are here as part of their new summer collection. These are made of a “new old stock” indigo dyed Cone Mills jacquard fabric and finished with vintage 1920’s French glass buttons.

We’ve also received a small run of 10oz Japanese denim Ranch jackets. These are made of a Kaihara milled 10oz dark indigo warp and gray weft denim and finished with black donut wreath buttons and blank copper rivets with leather washer backings.

Mister Freedom’s blank tees are back at all stores and now available in black for the first time. These are made out of a 100% US grown cotton and made using an original Mister Freedom pattern, inspired by 1940’s/1950’s cotton t-shirts. Available now in white, sage, navy blue, and black.

STEVENSON OVERALL CO. SUMMER COLLECTION

We've just received Stevenson's selection of summer shirts and basics including new tank tops, underwear, Cody western shirts, and loopwheeled henley t-shirts.

Stevenson Dual-Comfort tank tops are here in two colors. These are produced of a double-faced grafted fabric, consisting of two pieces of cotton material bonded together with a vintage dobby style loom, making this a versatile piece for all season wear. The fabric is soft to the touch and can be easily worn as a layering piece or on its own. The design is inspired by vintage tank tops issued by the U.S. military, reimagined as casual wear rather than underwear.

We now also have a fresh run of the Stevenson Overall Cody shirt in stock, this one in a 6.5oz black/black sulfur-dyed denim version. These are made of a ring-spun Zimbabwe cotton and finished with a super-fine stitch count and Belnap stone snap buttons. The front yoke of these Cody shirts is shaped like a buffalo horn and the back yoke is designed in a wing-shape while chest pockets, sleeve plackets, and cuffs are designed in an arch. Some truly beautiful lines running throughout these shirts.

We've also received Stevenson’s loopwheeled henley t-shirts in two colors; we believe this to be the best version of this type of henley tee you can find by any brand. The cotton is organic, unbleached, un-acetate washed, and starts as a medium to short staple cotton fiber. The fabric is knit on a vintage loopwheeling machine which knits the fabric in a circular pattern with a gravity assisted “pull” which leaves a horizontal knit pattern on the fabric. The sleeve hem in of itself is a work of art; using multiple styles of knitting patterns flat lock stitched together to create the snug hem of the sleeve, and the shirt is finished with a real rayon woven tag.

Lastly we have some very nice boxer briefs made of a Tanguis cotton that’s soft yet sturdy. These are based on a vintage design but updated in all the right areas so you don’t have to go looking for some WWII-era chonies at the vintage store.

3SIXTEEN SUMMER LINE & WIDE LEG JEANS

New 3sixteen Vacation shirts have landed. These black polka dot shirts are made of a 100% hemp fiber and have been hand screen printed and washed for a lived-in feel.

We also have Ultraweight Smoke Garment-Dyed Hoodies; this a reworked hoodie style by 3sixteen made of a new super heavy 32oz french terry which has been garment dyed in a smoke color. These hoodies have a more relaxed fit compared to the rest of their hoodie line-up.
