Lunch at a small hotel in the town of Concepcion where they had these cool & massive carved wood columns.

The carving I’m leaning on represents a local tree, toborochi (Ceiba speciosa)…

I think the artisan did a good job with his tree.

Starting to warm up slowly but surely here. Tee’s alone are possible if you’re in the sun and out of the wind. Otherwise, still lots of layers [emoji1]

Idyllic. What a lovely way to plan a weeks work. Is it mostly cattle farming?

I have very diverse set up..  i would say 50 Percent is working in the wood..  the rest is cattle farming and agriculture.. actually I have 30 cattle.. that is nothing if you compare it with farms in the us. for me it is best job in the world but you have to work 24/7.. We actually investing a lot in a little farm shop but that is still a long way to go
