IH-777-SST - 21oz Shinayaka Selvedge Denim - Super Slim Tapered - Indigo

Our modern super-slim cut, with more taper from knee to cuff than most of our jeans, in our new Shinayaka denim. Shinayaka is a brand new concept from the mind of Haraki, a new 21oz Iron Heart indigo selvedge denim with a little give. Specifically designed to make our slimmer jeans more accessible and comfortable by including 2% polyurethane in the weft yarn of the denim weave for added flexibility. Looks and feels just like our signature 21oz 100% cotton denim, but gives a bit more:  seeing them side by side you'd be pushed to tell the difference.

Almost definitely not. That would entail a major tweak and those generally don’t happen once a cut has been established.

30 or 31 inseam with a usual tag-size 31 waist … since I always cuff, I stopped thinking about inseam. What you just said sounds really interesting.

Imagine all the fabric saved by offering shorter lengths for us vertically challenged people.  I hem my jeans to a 31.  Although, I haven't had many concern with losing much of the taper.

Super interesting stuff! I’m 5’ 6” and I always need trimming. A 28”-30” 777 would definitely fit me right on! Do you have a  approximate date for these to be released?

great idea. i won't mind too. even though i'm pretty generic in size. but if 'll have the choice i'll always prefer a 34 length than 36. loved that on my Beatle busters.

Late March according to the release, is this week late March yet or waiting another weekend?

We have not been told they are ready yet, so late March has probably mutated into some time in April…..

Will these be able to be repaired via darning?  I know that some people doing such repairs only work on 100% cotton.

It's 1%, as far as we're concerned it may as well be 100% cotton….What other people think, I have no idea....
