I am going to start a new job soon, bye architecture for now. The whole business is a bit insane in germany at the moment due to much too high demand and way to less people to fill it, which means everything is very slow and very expensive and that isn´t even remotely funny as the person that is in charge when it comes to time and money management. I am going to work as a Project Manager in Trade Fair Construction from February on, lots of new tasks all over Europe are to come, cant wait.

Job interview tomorrow. My 1st interview outside of my current employer in almost 19 years. I'd love the job but in the fortunate position of not needing it out of necessity. It's a good job I don't believe in jinxes. Why does the internet make you confess things I haven't told my closest friends? It feels a bit like a secular confessional booth.

@Boyo and @mikebarhoot thanks for the words of encouragement. I don't generally get nervous, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit edgy tonight. I've done my research, have the right career experience, just on me not to screw it up with my social Tourettes now!

@Wlemon four is pretty good going, but to be honest I'm grasping at straws here. I don't care to mention the number of vests I own, partially because I don't know and otherwise because it's a lot :D. I have four trucker jackets myself, not including the duck type II I'm trying in vain to offload. I've been in the game a while though.
I totally approve of and respect your appreciation of said jacket type. They are often exquisite. Seductive as truckers are however, they don't get the wear they deserve in this part of the world. That being said I'm entertaining the idea of sizing one of the new 14oz jackets to wear like a shirt, under a tee, and with my deck jacket or IHJ-13-GRY over.

@neph93 I have 4 type III and 1 type II now. Helppp meeee! You will also observe that my portable wealth (as the traveller community call it) has reduced as a result (surplus bling sold on EBay to subsidise my often irrational purchases).
For me, 3 items have always represented outsider culture…bandanas, biker/engineer boots, and type III jackets. Jeans also, but less so. I just love their aesthetic. It has to be modified type III for me. No pockets = heavy shirt
