I’ve decided that Berlin just edges out London in: ‘The best public transport to use while drunk’ award. Also the previous and current country I’m visiting have not even checked my passport. Perhaps technology has moved on in the 5 years since I last used it.

Berlin does have a great public transportation system. I like buying the pass, validating it, then never having to show it until an inspector comes on the train.

I got back yesterday morning from my 7 month deployment. Damn, it feels great to be back. Here's a shot from the bridge of us pulling into Pearl Harbor the other day. If you look closely, you can see the Sailors manning the rails as they prepare to render honors to the USS Arizona Memorial.

Just installed the latest Windows 10 (6th new version overall) and every time more and more new ''features'' were added that spy, track and share literally everything you do. The best part is not all of them can be disabled. I think Microsoft has turned the term personal computer into public computer by now. I would've never thought I'd say that but moving to Apple might be an option in the future.

This Friday,they will be running The Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs. It’s arguably the most prestigious race for fillies run in America. The reason I’m posting this is that there’s a horse running named “Take Charge Paula” She’s a bit of a long shot at 15-1,but my philosophy has always been once the gates open anything can happen. And since we know who everyone’s favorite Paula is on The Forum, and I’m sure there are times when she takes charge,I have to make a small wager on this horse
,just in case she has the lead when they cross the wire. The race goes off at about 6:30 EDT. If you happen to be watching you can root for her. -

Currently working dual jobs, one blocks away from Yeshiva University in NYC, and another across the river in NJ, and being remembered by the electrician and plumber, but most importantly by the bartender at the hotel I haven't been to in 5 years.
