2 were hemmed by IHUK and the other three remain unhemmed, it's so cray cray :o

SExIH22 301s - originally hemmed by sesf, rehemmed at blue owl due to being too conservative on my part in original hem.
IH 555-03 - hemmed by blue owl.All have been great work, would have got both done at SE, but they don't offer mail in service

The moment I've been waiting for has almost arrived. My fiancée and I will be going to Ciudad Juarez on Thursday to start our week of appointments culminating in the K-1 visa interview on the 12th. After a year-and-a-half of paperwork and waiting for USCIS, it snuck up on us all of a sudden. They contacted us like four days ago and said: "Hey, you're interview is scheduled in Juarez." We're a little apprehensive about spending a week in a motel in one of the murder capitals of the world, but that's what has to be done.
So effing excited. Of course, this expensive trip would pop up right before purps drop. Gah.

Hemmed to 35 in a fit of madness -
I just hit the biggest milestone in my Navy career. I was selected for promotion to Chief Petty Officer (CPO)! This was my 5th attempt at selection, and I finally saw my name on the list. Today begins six weeks of training to transition into the new role. There's nothing like this in any other branch of the military, and I'll be busy in the coming weeks with leadership training, team building, and self reflection. When all of this culminates on the day of pinning (Sept. 16th), I'll be known in the Navy as Chief!
