Granddad died. The world has just lost its funniest, smartest and most anti-social person. His life was insane and despite all the controversy he created, I will always respect him greatly.

No need for empathy lads and lasses, I have no difficulty dealing with death at all. Although my glasses of wine are emptied at an alarmingly quick rate…

He was a Jehova's witness all his life but denounced religion in his last years. Apparently he didn't even want a religious sermon. Guy's dead and still doesn't seize to amaze me

It's the summer holidays for schools here in merry Britannia and I have next Monday off work for a boys day with Tommy, so I asked him what he wanted to do with our day, this was his list…

• All you can eat Chinese buffet.
• Trip to the comic shop.
• Watch an action movie.
• Play some Playstation.
