I had to travel to Madison, WI from Minneapolis, MN today. I've made the drive in the other direction before but it had been a while.

I can sum it up thusly: rolling prairie farmland dotted with tons of huge brick and mortar cheese, fireworks, and pornography retailers, and the occasional hotel/water park or outlet mall.

I'm trying not to think of what that says about 'Murica.

        Think it, be it.

In September I order a custom pair of brown roughout Bosses from Wesco because they were running a sale. I just got an email that they shipped. That's a month earlier than expected! Merry Christmas!

I love Madison. I used to live there 🙂

Not a big Moon fan (or, for that matter, The Who in general), though I certainly respect him, and I certainly love Mike Bordin but he isn't on my Mount Rushmore of rock drummers with Keith and Bonzo.

My pick for the greatest overall drummer of all time is probably Vinnie Colaiuta, though Elvin Jones and Tony Williams are up there as well; Vinnie gets the nod because there are stellar examples of him playing in so many idioms so flawlessly and soulfully.  He would also inhabit my Mt. Rushmore, and in terms of technical chops, would be the preeminent member.

Mine are just my preference pick of their style, I'm not holding up score cards nor am I a fountain of drumming knowledge. Nevertheless, Moon and Bordin for me.

Fair enough; I'm speaking as a drummer, so chops and versatility enter the equation for me.  Trying to think of who else I should have on Rushmore…  Tempted to include Baker but he's such a douche.  Carmine Appice has probably gotta be on there.. 😉

EDIT: Oooh, Danny Carey, of course...

I get you man, I used to play guitar in some local bands, I was never amazing just competent but I always pick guitar players with style over technical brilliance too. Slash and Ace Frehely will always be my top two, I always think that people who tell me that Slash is not one of the top guitar player ever actually mean "I'm not into Guns n Roses".

I owned the non-pig printed version several years ago. The leather aged beautifully and nothing of the buckle rubbed away. The buckle really isn't that big. The SDA belts are also quite well priced if you compare to other brands. Only gripe is, that they run quite short IIRC. I sold my belt to MaxP after 1 year of constant wear.
