Well, after "buying" a house from a friend and having an inspector find a shit ton of hidden black mold. I had to recind my contract and I am now homeless, well not homeless, living with my parents while my shit is in storage and we find a new place. Not the best of times but not the worst of times so it is what it is

Went to google news, and holy chit, I've been living under a rock. What a senseless act and terrible shame. My heart is sickened by the news. Glad you're okay, SeaWolf.

Thanks guys. It means a lot! It was surreal watching the news last night and seeing all of the places I go quite frequently on the tv. It was also weird seeing my colleagues being interviewed on tv and it made it all seem very real. Luckily, I didn't have any business on the Navy Yard yesterday and was across town. I'm typically at the Navy Yard 3-4 times per week, and could have been stuck there (or worse) all day had I been there yesterday. I got lucky.

In other news, someone is either making a "log log" or taking selfies in the can.  I heard the unmistakable skeuomorphic "click" of an iPhone camera in a stall as I wash washing my hands.  Then I made a hasty, almost panicked, exit.

This is at my workplace, thus further confirming that there are some fucking animals scattered amongst the seemingly harmless population here.

Corpse was dumped down the street from my house.  I live in a very safe area, so this is noteworthy.
