Taking my 634's back to their birthplace today. I really don't know yet if I'll have the time to visit The Works in Hachioji since I'm only staying in Tokyo for 2+3 nights and there's so much I haven't seen there yet but I'll see what I can do. Gonna travel around Honshu and Kyushu (and hopefully Shikoku as well) for two weeks. Soooooooo excited!

          AIAN HA-TO!

Today I get my first pair of Vibergs, which are more likely to fit than what I was sized and ordered thanks to a stunning act of generosity by Giles, allowing me to trade out my E for a D. I didn't ask for this, he volunteered. What a great dude, thanks again man.

Also today, I receive my ZeeBee Leather belt, which some of you have seen pictures of in the ZeeBee thread. Obviously, I am very excited about that as well.

            Think it, be it.

Thank you.  But generous it was not.  Getting it right (& I sincerely hope we do) first time is a lot less hassle, expense and disappointment for all of us….

Well then, the enlightened self-interest is appreciated nonetheless 🙂

I am beltless today in anticipation of the ZeeBee, and I feel naked.

Will a wash soften up the 666-XHS a bit. Straight out the box they are too tough.

I don't have experience with 25 oz but I would guess a wash would soften it up a little.

On an unrelated note, I managed to stretch out the sleeve openings on my type 3 through the use of some graduated glass cups and a little elbow grease….and I'm crazy stoked. The fact that the sleeves were almost cutting off circulation was the only thing I didn't like but now they're perfect 🙂

It will help, eventually.  However, when they dry they will be crispier than before.  You just have to wear the soft out of them.  After a few hours/days of body heat and perspiration they will be slightly softer than they are now.  But the denim will thank you for the early soak.

The vulcans are size 35 the duck devils are 36
That is the difference I think
