I see no reason why they wouldn’t have been trying for both. But even if they weren’t I stand by what I said. Armchair quarterbacking isnt reserved for players. We can speculate all we want about the front office decisions but when all is said and done they’re making decisions that put food on the table for hundreds of people in that building. They play to win at every level. They broke no rules. No good team is going to shy away from a controversial decision just because it appears sleazy.
What’s really sleazy is people like Mike Florio and the rest of the talking heads who are mostly just giving us their opinions and treating it like gospel just to sell ad time. They’re about as accurate as the weather people.

He’s the Profootball Talk guy. He’s kind of a know it all and he’s always spouting football conspiracies. Im partial to Rich Eisen but that’s about it. I also don’t enjoy Steven A Smith and that whole sub genre of sports reporters. Anyone with a desk covered in bobble heads usually annoys me.

I think the Ravens would have had a hard time paying both players while navigating the salary cap. But true point of who knows, and the organization has to do what's best for the organization. Again...just poor timing to pull out.
I enjoy Rich Eisen as well, but agree a lot of the sports reporters are just a lot of biased fluff for clicks and views

If the last few years of mediocrity under Harbaugh weren’t evidence enough that he had to go then it should help that he filling up the Giants with Ravens. Why would the same coach and the same players but on a team with worse management and ownership be a winning model? I’m so glad he’s gone.
