This was my first IH purchase. You’ll love them.

Soaked mine in hot tap water, around 50°C. Washed it on a short and slow spin cycle, now it's drip drying. Maybe it'll be dry tomorrow morning!

It dried okay last night, and only have a few wet spots on the waist and the pockets this eveneing.
I just put them on. They didn't shrink too much, after a couple of attempts, I was able to close the top button.
Looks like a half decent fit!

Looks good to me. My shrink/stretch experience on these was negligible as well.

@Kasi only one i haven’t tried yet is the 634 furthermore i love all my cuts so far!

If I decide to get them hemmed, that'll be later on, once the creases have settled.
Put the additional label in Japanese through Google Lens, even Haraki recommends 1-2 washes before getting them hemmed.

As far as cuts go, I can pull off the 666/777/634. Tried on both the 888/555 - the high rise is not for me.

Funny thing - in one of my older posts, I have written somewhere on here that I wouldn't tackle the task of breaking in a pair of 25oz after putting my hands on them at IH Hamburg. After the first wash, and rolling around the sofa for the last two hours, they're already getting comfy. Wouldn't have expected that!

I'm generally a 666 man, but went for a pair of these XHS in 634. Love the wide lower leg, but I'm swimming in the top block, big flare at the hips. Might be back to the devil for my skinny ass.

Decided to break these out considering I may soon no longer fit into a 29 for the 666 cut..

Think I got them in 2017/2018 after the heavyweight competition with the 666UHRs. New jeans new journey..

cheers. I thought the pearl snaps was a nice fit for the black. only just got them recently during the sale. nice to have a black pair of UHFs. I was gonna wear these a few years back but tried out the lefty..
